The version I bought in early 2009 worked great until it died, within one year of purchase.  Of course when I went to replace it the model had changed to what is now pictured.  The replacement (new) one I bought a few days ago didn't work at all and was taken back to the store and replaced with yet another new one.  This new one does not have the same volume of output as the 2009 model, the tank is smaller which requires more refilling, and is shaped so that you actually have to stand at the sink and hold it upright.

It says it has a 3 year limited warranty.  Let's see if it lasts even one year.  Keep in mind that these appliances are used only during the winter months, therefore not really even one year.

Had for three years with relatively no problems. Now has stopped working no matter what I do. Will probably buy another one tho'.

 Was having low humidity levels in the house, purchased this model and now raised the humidity level in the whole house by 15%...The only thing is that you must clean it regularly to prevent heat disc from collecting mineral build up..Changing filter pads often helped with the build up on heat disc.
