24 hour wonder
Bought it Sunday morning at the Home Depot, hung it out Sunday afternoon. It came on at sunset and was working great when I went to bed at 11. It had turned off at dawn by the time I had gotten up. Monday evening I just happened to be out in the back yard at dusk, it came on with a zap and that was it. The light worked great, but the grid was dead. Watched a moth go in and land on the grid and then fly back out. Emailed the company and was told that this was not an issue with these units, that they had not been having any problems like mine. I guess they must not read the reviews.
GREAT WHEN IT WORKED
It worked great for a few months and then it stopped zapping bugs. The bulb still works and outlasted the electric zapping mechanism, go figure I would have guessed it would have been reversed.

I had the same problem worked fine for bout a month or so and the light would come but would not zap bugs
Bug Zapper
When we got the bug zapper home, plug it in and all we got was a blue light at the top of the bulb. The next day it was on, the following day back to the blue light at the top of the bulb. I moved the zapper to another location and it came on correctly and when I came back 30 minutes later it was back to just the light blue light at the top of the bulb. I can't figure what the problem is.

Unit lasted 2 months
2 months is all it lasted......I expected better quality for the price!
not so hot
bought a stinger on friday bk100 45.00$ , within one night the light was out so i unplugged it and turned it back on the light came on but it was zapping itself to dealth rather unnerving kindof like a tazer gone haywire so i took it back and got another. well after a couple of hours my son went out and told me that the light was out ... hhm bought a new extention cord specifically for the zapper and it still did the same thing ,after about an hour or two the bulb will go out . looks like a florecent bulb that needs to be twisted to come on its just lit at the base trying to come on but wont . taking it back again will purchase something else crap crap crap
Stinger
The stinger is great to keep bugs from biting. I cannot go out my door to water the garden or cook on the grill without it. The only problem I have is that I have to replace it every year. Other than that it is great for doing 100% what it says it will do.

worked well for two weeks, then like other reviews the light worked but did not zap.

After one day of use, light bulb on but does not zap anymore, very disapointed never buying again!!!

unit started working out of the box, the next morning it was dead. light works but zapper is gone. worked less than 12 hours.

Stinger bug killer
These are the biggest pieces of crap being sold in the U.S. today. I bought two Stinger BK100 insect killers on Saturday, 6/9/2012 at 7:12PM Eastern time. Around $40.00 each after taxes. Plugged them up as soon as I got home. Sunday morning one of the bulbs was already burned out. Cost about $19.00 for a new bulb, almost half the price of the whole zapper. Now, on Saturday, 6/16/2012 the other zapper will light up but won't spark. Won't buy another ever again, nor will anyone else that I get a chance to talk to. Total junk!
Electric Outdoor Insect Killer model BK100
Originally was looking for a smaller model that could be hung inside our porch area but this works for us, too. The black light is especially cool.
