Great solid simple humidifier
Bought two of these. Had some from 20 years ago. Works great as of now. WE've had for two weeks now working nonstop. It has helped with dryness in the room, and increased the temperature. Easy, simple and keeps boiling for a day or two or more without changing water. For the price, you can't beat it. Simple.

i purchase this product fews weeks ago so far is working properly hopefully it keeps doing it , since i bought another product and that it stop working waiting for the customer care service to contact me. other than that very please with this product.

V 150 A-OK
We have used this vaporizer for seven winters. It is easy to fill and use. Easy to clean; quiet. Nite lite is handy. Holds plenty water.
Slag removal is a bit of a chore. And Kaz liquid inhalant seems of little value.
All-in-all, I recommend this handy product.
However it quit working today. Since I am an expert, experienced appliance repairman, I examined it and found one electric wire terminal has a loose, corroded connection to its carbon electrode and the terminal screw cannot be tightened Or loosened. If I can get a new electrode kit, it would be easy to fix. It has a simple, well designed assembly.

Easy to set up and began working as advertised. A nice Gentle Steam rises out of the unit which looks like it will not deposit moisture all around it. A good Feature! Added the Vick Strips and could immediately smell the difference. Looking forward to a good nights sleep.
Not bad
Bought this last night. It produces plenty of steam, but the Vapopads didn't do anything. There isn't even any smell whatsoever coming from them. Will try again tonight with the Vapo Steam.

So far I really like this one, I bought it to replace an old one that would start spitting about half way through the night and wake me up. I hope that this one doesn't start doing that. I try to clean them as directed. Time will tell.

I got it to help with congestion, after an hour my kids and i were breathing easier. I love this and would deffinately recommend it to others.

Used it last night for the first time, it did pretty well, but I need to add a pinch or two more salt, as about half the water was left this morning.
Vicks vaporizer
Just bought it and it's not working well. I plug it in, follow directions and no steam comes out. My other vaporizer you can smell right away and see the steam coming out. Tho one either doesn't work or doesn't work as well.

This is good while it last. Keep having to add salt and still doesn't steam most of the time!

Warm Mist Vicks Vaporizer
This vaporizer is very inexpensive and worth it. I've used more expensive ones in the past with filters that are very difficult to clean. To clean this one, all you do is rinse out the reservoir daily. Weekly, you soak it with bleach and soak the steam unit in vinegar - no scrubbing, mold, etc!

I had to replace my previous one. I didn't register my previous one so couldn't get a free replacement so had to purchase a new one because I really liked this product.
V150SG
We previously purchased a V150SG in 2008, and around the year two mark it effectively quit functioning. Instead of pursuing warranty action, we purchased another one. Here we are at about the two year mark and this one, too, has effectively ceased to function. We went to the store to purchase another one, but noticed the three year warranty, so now we are seeing what can be done. We rated it two stars because when it worked, it was great. However, it seems to have a limited life time.

The directions can be confusing, but we figured it out. Where you put the Vick's liquid is confusing. In the top of the humidifier or in the water? Overall, good item to purchase.

Terrible
I bought this same machine at wal mart when my daughter was sick 3 months ago. I am now sick with chronic bronchitis and I just plugged it in and it doesnt work. I had it stored in my closed in the box and it doesnt work? I only used it for a week. That to me is a bad product. Do not buy this particular one. I mean. When I first bought it it was great because of the liquid that you could put in the top and allow to mix in the air. That was cool. Thats why we bought it. But Im sorry. When you can only use a product for one week and thats it. I dont like wasting my money. I have told everyone I know not to buy it.

Our water corrodes the carbon rods so much that after numerous cleanings the unit has to be thrown away after about a year of use because there are no replacement parts.
If 2 new screws and 2 new carbon rods were available the unit would work like new for another year or so instead of having to throw all that plastic into the land fill each time.

I love the vaporizer but i very much dislike the night lite actually wakes me up in the middle of the night. No night lite would be better.

Water Concerns
I like the warm steam, however the water is dirty and filled with large black particles. I am concerned about continue use with those things that are floating in the water. We have a Vick cool mist vaporizor and that works sooooooo much better than this one. I would not recommend this one because of the black particles alone.

I really love this product. It is quiet, and I love how it has a place to put the Vicks Vapopads, a place at the top to add Vicks Vaposteam, as well as being able to add the Vicks Vaposteam directly to the water. Also, it is very easy to clean.

Works as good as the old one and that does not happen much these days. Works the same as the old one too. Isn't that great??? The old one worked for 45 years.
Great Product
There were other brands available, but Kaz and Vicks are well known brands and ones that have been part of my life since I was a child - didn't even consider the other options. There was nothing to consider.
Overall good product
Good product for adding moisture to air in cool weather. I like the medicine cup to add essential oils to also purify and deodorize air. Purchased primarily because of statement of 18-24 hour capacity but I have only been able to get 9 hours so far. Unit bubbles rather noisily for first few hours then slows and quiets down. I like the large capacity bowl. Easy to maintain and I like the info on using vinegar for cleaning. Previous unit of another brand did not give any info on cleaning and sediment build up was bad.
