This is the only place I have found I can buy these filters since the machine I use in the winter has been discontinued. I appreciate this wbsite and product for as long as it is available so I do not need to buy another humidifier right away.

Glad I found it.
I had looked several places within different stores to find a replacement filter for my product without any luck. I got online and found the Kaz website and found the filter I was looking for. I was very happy to have done so. My only problem was the company waited a week to ship it to me after I had paid for it. Not sure whats up with that? However, keep making them as I'll be needing more.

The filters are great and the pricing is acceptable. However your shipping time is not acceptable. I feel you could do a better job in this area.
PROTEC DEMINERALIZATION CARTRIDGE, DC-51
I have been looking for almost a year in walk-in stores (Walmart, Target, etc.) that carried our vaporizor but none carried replacement demineralization cartridges. Walgreens also kept claiming they stocked it but I never did find it after looking in several of their stores. I did find several websites offering the cartridge but Kaz had the best deal when using their promotion codes. I am very happy to FINALLY find this item and at a reasonable price.

Replaced the existing filter in my bedroom humidfer with the new unit and the next morning I could inhale easier. Still can, enough said.

i recently purchased DC-51 water filter. I'm very happy with the product and it does a great job in the humidifier. However, it is hard to find this product in stores and i had to order it online. But it did come in a timely fashion and kaz offered free shipping on it if you join their club. therefore, it all worked out and i'm very happy with the product and the ease of getting the product through the website.

It was louder than advertised - we had to switch out the one in the bedroom and put this in the dining room because there is no way you could sleep with it going - only had it a few days, so seems to work fine!

poor results from using cartridge
after one to two days use i found a sickly sweet smell coming out of the humidifyer. after i cleaned the humidifyer and removed the protect cartridge the smell went away

The Kaz company consistently sells great products. I received my cartridges quickly and in good condition. They are hard at work in my Vick's ultrasonic humidifier. I couldn't be more pleased.

The Kaz website is easy to navigate and the order process is simple and clear. The product I ordered was easily identifiable and was exactly what I needed to keep the white dust-like deposits off of my furniture. A much cheaper alternative than using distilled water at a gallon a day. The last filter like this that I purchased lasted for an entire winter''s worth of use...running for about 10 hours a day.

Just a basic filter that does the trick...demineralizes the water so there's no white film on the windows. My humidifier puts a gallon of water into the air every night throughout the winter. This is my third Protec Demineralization Cartridge. I've been very pleased with this product.

PROTEC DEMINERALIZATION CARTRIDGE
This product does the job. I have tried several different humidifiers, and prefer the Vicks ultrasonic that uses this cartridge. I replace it when needed but don't have problems in between!

I have been using these filters for the humidifier in my infant son's room. It gives me confidence that the air that he is breathing is moist and clean.

I'm very pleased with the filter for my Vicks humidifier. The price is just right and I was able to get free shipping making this purchase a great one. I wish I could find it at regular stores like Wlamart or Target so I don't have to wait for so long.

It works well just not long enough. We are on a well so may be the reason for short life of the water filter.

Recycling?
You would think that Kaz would design demineralization cartridges for its humidifiers that are recyclable, but guess again. The company offers NO recycling service for these cartridges and has no advice on what to do with them when they're used up, other than to throw in the garbage. Talk about environmentally friendly.
