Demineralization Cartridge
I'm on my the cartridge after the original one that came with the Vicks unit. It works well against most water soluble minerals with the exception of iron. I have to clean the unit weekly to remove the red slimey film in the main unit.

this is a new product for me to buy, I bought the six pack to make sure I will always have them for the humiidifier I have. So I am dateing them to see how long they last.

I am very satisfied with the cartridges as they really help with the "white dust" left by the humidifier. My husband and I both have allergies and sinsuses and need to use the humidifier on a regular basis.
Filter
I run the humidifier 24/7 to keep my guitars at the proper humidity. I was hoping one filter would last a month before the white mineral deposits started showing up -- but I'm getting 3 weeks. It's still slightly cheaper than using distilled water everyday. All in all, I'm pleaed, but the filter isn't working as long as I expected. It's a good product and you seem to be a good company. thanks, dk
Small Price to Pay
It's a small price to pay for much cleaner air. It's really easy to not replace these, but the dust and smell isn't worth it. They're relatively so cheap, and really cut down on dust and other unpleasant side effects of using an old one. I know because I've done both! Better to get new ones.
That was easy
I needed fliters for my humidifier. The site was very easy to use and I got the filters that same week. I put in the new filter right away. The entire process was painless. It reminds me of Staples "Easy Button".

Works well
I very much like the cartridges, they work well. I do wish they would last a little longer, but I have extremely hard water.
However, when I tried using distilled water they worked perfectly. A great product.

DC-51 cartridger
I use these in my humidifier at work so it goes daily through the winter. They last about 3 weeks each at that rate but they do the job.
Great Product
These filters can be hard to find in stores but oh so easy to order online. We use 2 humidifiers in our home all throughout the winter months. The filters keep the rooms free of white dust that usually accumulates with other humidifiers. Great product....very dependable!

As it promises
These cartridges work well. I have to change mine often because our water is so heavily mineralized that if i wait too long the water in the humidifier is tinged yellow. They are exactly like the cartidge that comes with the humidifer. It was also quick shipping.
dehumidifier
quality of dehumidifier seems fine, but the 'water bucket' is a little difficult to take out and slide back into the casing. have not used the pump part yet; so, will see how that works in the warm weather when the tubing can be put outside into the yard.
DEMINERALIZATION CARTRIDGE
I think these cartridges help keep my humidifier cleaner. My old humidifier did not have a replaceable filter so I bought a bottle of demineralizing cleaner that we had to put in the tank each time we filled it with distilled water-not tap water.
I also liked the fact I could order a value pack to save a little money-plus I will always have one on hand when needed.

I bought filters for my humidifier V5100 - I am happy that they still make the filters as it seems that my model is discontinued. Filters work exactly as they always have. Price was reasonable and my order came quickly.

demineralization Cartrige
The demineralization cartrige makes the water in the humidifier much cleaner so that the cool, moist mist is better to breath. Which in turn makes my breathing much better.
Easy order, easy to install
Multiple pack order will encourage me to change the cartridge more often and make cleaning easier.

Cartidges OK but the humidifier stopped working and was discarded so I sent some of the cartidges back for a refund which was handeled by Sonja in a professional manner.
kaz cartridges
Came in very quickly. Just what I needed. It will take me several months to use them all, but the first one is working great. Will get back to you if I experience any major problems. We have a "reli on" humiditier that holds 1 1/2 to 2 gallons and we really like the size of it and were having a very hard time finding the cartridges locally.

Vicks humidifier I purchased from Kaz comes with one of these cartridges so I felt it best to purchase some spares to have on hand when needed.
I use straight tap water in my unit and have not noticed any white residue on my nearby furniture so it must be working.

Works-sort of
We have very hard water with a high calcium content. The cartridge helps but does not eliminate the "white mist" and mineral deposits on parts of the humidifier. A better solution is to use distilled water but the cost and inconvenience of using many gallons of distilled water makes the cartridges an attractive, but not problem free alternative.

Product was reasonably priced with reasonable shipping charges. They arrived very quickly even though it was mid-December and might have taken longer. I am very pleased with these filters and with this company.

DEMINERALIZATION CARTRIDGE
Seems to work well for the first 2-3 weeks but after that I start getting the white film again. And the date lable smudges and disappears since it's submerged in water. I will keep using it becuase I have hard water so that is why I gave it a 4 even though I had a couple of issues.
Value for the money!
This 6 pack is certainly the way to go. The cartridges are fresh - in a sealed wrapper and much less expensive than any of our local stores!

I purchased six filters for my two humidifers and have already used to with complete satisfaction.

It was not clear that this product would work in my Walgreen's branded humidifier; I had to use other web sites to determine that, and even then, I still had some doubts. It was not immediately clear how to install the filter, but after less than a minute of trial and error, I figured out how to make it work. The filter seems to greatly cut down, but not eliminate the white powder problem

My biggest regret is ordering 6 of these cartridges. I have used 2 new cartridges within a week and my furniture is still covered with white dust.
