Just got the Vicks Humidifier Model V4450. It works. Wish we knew how to turn the "night light" off - asked kaz via email. We find the light annoying.
Time will tell if mold will get a foot hold. I suppose if it's drained and cleaned like the manual says we should not have a problem.

FINE PRODUCT
So far, so good. Just purchased a small humidifier and it seems just fine. I trusted the HOneywell name and didn't think twice about my purchase.

Vaporizer
I didn't see my model on the list which is Model 150SGN2UPC, so I gave the model closest to to the one I have.
The unit is working well for me . I can't clean this model as listed in the manual because the top hole isn't accessible and I will not take apart to clean it with vinegar. I only had it a week.

GOOD PRODUCT
I RECCOMEND A STEAM VAPORIZER OVER A COOL MIST ONE, BECAUSE IT DISPURSES THE VAPORS MORE EFFIECIENTLY. IT ALSO ENTERS THE LUNGS AT A FASTER RATE. I RECCOMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Relion Humidifier
This model is loud and if you are trying to sleep in the same room it's hard to! I have only had this for a couple weeks and now it's leaking water out of the back of the unit. I tried it three times and it does the same thing. I am tired of buying products that don't work. Now I have to waste time trying to get my warrant info figured out.

AVAILABILITY!
does this sound familiar? i bought a humidifier at a local mega chain store; but when i returned to buy the demineralization cartridges, the store did not carry them. it happens all the time, with all sorts of appliances and products - vacuum cleaners (no bags!),wide mouth canning jars (no lids!), etc. etc. thank goodness for on-line companies. Kaz was right there with what i needed, at reasonable prices and a special low shipping rate. delivery was very prompt. i'll do business with this company again!

Cool Mist Humidifier
We thought this product was great! Our house has electric, baseboard heat and is extremely dry in the winter. Last year we found the cool mist humidifier worked so well we got another one this year for our sons bedroom. Great, easy to use product.

Shipping of product
This isn't exactly a review but I wanted to say the customer service was excellent when making my purchase. I had ordered filters and then noted another humidifier I wanted to buy. I called to merge these two orders together which couldn't be done however, the customer service helper sent my humidifier less shipping costs. Products are great but customer satisfaction definitely counts as well.

Effective Design
A multi-functional warm mist/steam humidifier with a night light. Add a pinch of iodized salt to decrease surface tension and subsequently allowing the "saline" water to atomize faster than normal. Don't add too much salt,... no one wants their room to smell like the ocean.

Ultrasonic Humidifier
I purchased this product (Model V5100N on 12/31/2010. Today 01/14/2011 I turned the unit off to fill up the water tank and reinstalled the water tank. When I turned the unit back on I noticed the dile did not lite up. After wating a few minuts nothing was happing. I turned the unit back off and ckecked that there was power coming form the receptacle. pluged the unit back in and turned on still nothing. I am verry disipointed this unit only worked for 15 days.

Nice product, wierd noise
I am pretty happy with the easy of use and functionality of this unit. However, it occasionally makes odd buzzing noises from the pump. Pros: easy to fill and maintain, compact size Cons: Buzzing noise

Not Good
Water leaks out the back, where the filter is!!! I had it on a stand and it was all wet!!! Not happy! Also the power cord was wet!This is not good. I can't return it to the store because I don't have the box. I also put a pan under it to catch the water, but I just ended up spilling it on the floor. So I will not buy another and I will tell others not to buy it.

i Like the Humidifier that I just purchased on February 13.2011 The only problem is that when I tried to turn theTank Cap.I couldn't get the Tank top off the unit,so I could desinfect it and them put the cold water in the unit,it took me more then one try to finally unscrew the Tank Cap off.

I am a little disappointed in the machine.
It is very heavy and hard to handle when it is filled with water.
It is messy when I empty the leftover water. I spill water from the bedroom to the kitchen!!

Honeywell Queit Care Humidifier
This is the second Quiet Care humidifier we have purchased. We love it!!! It is quiet and can be used in the front room to the bedroom. Altough I couldn't find it in stores, Amazon.com made it easy to order and we didn't have to wait long for delivery. I would recomend to everyone!!!

Protec Cartridges
i am quite disapponted with the results of your Protec Antimicrobial Cleaning Cartridge. On both my humidifiers had black mildew or mold on the filters shortly after replacing filters, cleaning and dinsinfecting humidifier, and replacing. I would hope to hear something from you soon. cartridge.

Maintenance and Cleaning
We purchased 2 humidifiers and they worked as they were supposed to. However, after 3 days of operation and noises, it became necessary to call your help line. We were told that minerals in the water made it necessary to clean more often. It ended up being every other day whick is to time consuming.

Vicks Ultrasonic cool mist from Target Store
Not quiet as it says on box. Quiet at 1st setting. 2nd setting
is very loud. Next time I buy one, when it says quiet I want it
to be quiet at higher settings.
I won't buy another cool mist. I only bought it because I had a toncillectomy & was suggested to keep throat from getting dry. I can't notice that much humidity.
Don't need warm humidifier because I have an Aprilaire on my furnace.
I'm buying distilled water because we have hard water, then put the Demineralization Cartridge aside and use when I run out of distilled. What I hate about humidifiers is to have to clean them once a week. I'll clean & store humidifier away for winter. How long does it last - a year or two. I paid $52.99 from Target. I put your coupon toward another cartridge.
Why do you have to unplug each time you fill it, I screw the cap on tight? I didn't read the booklet, didn't think I had to clean it. Would be nice if you could invent a cool mist humidifier that you don't have to clean. Thank you.
I believe this is 2nd Kaz product I own - have a facial steamer - don't have to clean this one - love it.

It is quiet, economical, easy to clean, easy to use and maintain, it seems durable. It is small so it works well in a small room but will not work for more than one room at a time. It has to be cleaned and refilled every night. We liked it so well I ordered one for my daughter's room.

Good product. But...........
The Vicks warm steam vaporizer is a good product , but it overheats. i wouldn't reconmend getting it unless you can remember to get up and turn it off. after 7-8 hours of being on you can not touch it without using pot holders to handle it. Other than that the steam comes out great and does clear your nose, it's just the overheating that is hazrdess.

Has been a Godsend for our child

Vicks Vaporizer
I just purchased this Vicks Warm Steam Vaporizer, yesterday, January 14. And I am sorry to say, it does not work. And I have to pay postage to send it back to you and then give you a check to mail the unit back to me. This seems odd, for a day old purchase. It is not like I have had it awhile, and then experienced problems. It just does not work. So, maybe when the problem is resolved, I can give a better review of this product. Righ now, I would not recommend it to anyone. Not knowing the problem with it. To move on with this warranty register, I had to give a number, but I really would not like to even give a one star.
