The Kaz Vicks Warm Steam Humidifier works very well. It is so quiet that I sometimes wonder if it is working (yes, it is working). It dispenses vapor very gradually and gently. The winter season makes the indoor environment very dry ... electric heat is especially drying. This unit is a great solution for that.

The Honeywell Quiet Care humidifier does a great job in adding humidity to our dry winter air and help prevent the drying out of the house.
Love It! But it Broke!
To Whom It May Concern-My Husband just purchased a Honeywell Hydrapure and after having a month's worth of headaches go away, they are going to return. I haven't had a chance to even look at the warranty information and my husband went to fill it with water.
He opened the lid and the places that stand out a little to hold the lid on and together with the main piece, broke one off completely, and cracked the others. Now, I don't even want to try it on the humidifier for fear a piece will brake off, and bust the whole system and I'll have to replace the whole thing. Please help me replace the lid? I love this humidifier! It is my second one. It was sent to me free under my warranty so I am super happy with the awesome customer service! Kudos to Kaz! (the plastic handle broke in the third year).
I love this humidifier because I don't have to use distilled water...just tap water. It doesn't produce any white dust like some other humidifiers do. It has two levels of humidity. And it allows you to use the aromatherapy with it.

I bought this on wednesday due to the fact my 11 month old daugter was getting a terrible cough. I remembered having one in my room as a child when every time I sneezed too often. My mother lived by them. Now 3 days after my daughter is feeling great. And I owe most of it to this product. We have a very dry apartment, and using this keeps it nice and moist in her room, and using the liquid helped her cough, and breathing 10 fold. I highly reccomend this to anyone with children. Can be the difference between 1 week of sleepless nights, to 3 days of a mild cough.
Vaporizer with a Charge
This is the Walgreens Pediatric Warm Steam Vaporizer that we bought last winter/early spring for my baby daughter's incessant coughing. We got it out at the first sign of the cough this fall and it worked great for the first two nights. After that, it didn't seem to be generating steam and, even though I cleaned it before putting it away for the summer, I cleaned it again. I was surprised at the amount of black "stuff" that came out after such little use and such a recent cleaning. FINALLY got the black stuff to stop coming out, filled it up and, upon plug-in immediately noticed the nursery's overhead light dim to about half power. I was cautious, but with the baby hacking up a lung, I decided so see if it would generate steam. It did and produces steam to this day. But my limited knowledge of electricity says that it is possible that something in the steam-generating part may be electrifying the tank of water. If not, then why does it make the overhead light in the room dim now when it didn't before? I called tonight to see about warranty coverage but, being Sunday at 9:00pm here, Y'all were closed. The item is just ok, it does what it should i guess, but product did not last, should not have problems so soon, especially when it is not used everyday.

Just got the Vicks Humidifier Model V4450. It works. Wish we knew how to turn the "night light" off - asked kaz via email. We find the light annoying.
Time will tell if mold will get a foot hold. I suppose if it's drained and cleaned like the manual says we should not have a problem.
FINE PRODUCT
So far, so good. Just purchased a small humidifier and it seems just fine. I trusted the HOneywell name and didn't think twice about my purchase.
It's nice and quiet and easy to refill.

I didn't see my model on the list which is Model 150SGN2UPC, so I gave the model closest to to the one I have.
The unit is working well for me . I can't clean this model as listed in the manual because the top hole isn't accessible and I will not take apart to clean it with vinegar. I only had it a week.

I RECCOMEND A STEAM VAPORIZER OVER A COOL MIST ONE, BECAUSE IT DISPURSES THE VAPORS MORE EFFIECIENTLY. IT ALSO ENTERS THE LUNGS AT A FASTER RATE. I RECCOMEND THIS PRODUCT.

This model is loud and if you are trying to sleep in the same room it's hard to! I have only had this for a couple weeks and now it's leaking water out of the back of the unit. I tried it three times and it does the same thing. I am tired of buying products that don't work. Now I have to waste time trying to get my warrant info figured out.

Effective Design
A multi-functional warm mist/steam humidifier with a night light. Add a pinch of iodized salt to decrease surface tension and subsequently allowing the "saline" water to atomize faster than normal. Don't add too much salt,... no one wants their room to smell like the ocean.

This is the second Quiet Care humidifier we have purchased. We love it!!! It is quiet and can be used in the front room to the bedroom. Altough I couldn't find it in stores, Amazon.com made it easy to order and we didn't have to wait long for delivery. I would recomend to everyone!!!

It is quiet, economical, easy to clean, easy to use and maintain, it seems durable. It is small so it works well in a small room but will not work for more than one room at a time. It has to be cleaned and refilled every night. We liked it so well I ordered one for my daughter's room.

The Vicks warm steam vaporizer is a good product , but it overheats. i wouldn't reconmend getting it unless you can remember to get up and turn it off. after 7-8 hours of being on you can not touch it without using pot holders to handle it. Other than that the steam comes out great and does clear your nose, it's just the overheating that is hazrdess.

I just purchased this Vicks Warm Steam Vaporizer, yesterday, January 14. And I am sorry to say, it does not work. And I have to pay postage to send it back to you and then give you a check to mail the unit back to me. This seems odd, for a day old purchase. It is not like I have had it awhile, and then experienced problems. It just does not work. So, maybe when the problem is resolved, I can give a better review of this product. Righ now, I would not recommend it to anyone. Not knowing the problem with it. To move on with this warranty register, I had to give a number, but I really would not like to even give a one star.
