Best filters available at a great price! These filters work extremely well while resisting buildup of bacteria and scale. Quantity is sufficient for two heating seasons with bi-monthly filter changes and humidifier cleanings.

The Honeywell filters do a great job and last a long time bvefore replacement. We use filtered water to extend the life of the filter and reduce calciaum build up, etc.
Disappointing customer service
I gave these filters only 1 star because of the unsatisfactory customer service that I received from Kaz this time. There is nothing wrong with the product itself.
There was a delay in the shipment of these filters. Customer service was off the ball every step of the way:
-I never received a notification about the delay and its reason
-The online order status did not provide any information aside from "in process"
-I did not receive a response to my email until FIVE days later
-When my order finally shipped - over 2 weeks later - there was no shipping notification
-The online order status still indicates "in process", even though it shipped
I will never purchase from Kaz again!

Only reading through the reviews was I able to find a consistent problem with the product and
that being the amount of moisture with which your (new thinner)wicks/filters put into the air.
Seems to me that this is a serious enough problem to address as your product is HUMIDIFIER
Sorry won't be buying the new filters!

I have two Honeywell humidifiers for my house. I use one year round in the room that my orchids are in. I like the gentle humidity that it provides for my plants. I live in a remote area and use well water that has lots of minerals. The filters are easy to use and do a good job of filtering out the impurities from my water and are odorless. Kaz offers a good deal on these filters so I buy them by the case (6).

An essential item
We purchase these filters for a Honeywell room humidifier. Here in southeast Idaho the water is extremely hard with minerals and calcium deposits, meaning these filters have to be changed every two months. The unit will not operate unless there is a clean filter so I appreciate that there is a company like Kaz to provide these, and I know of no other company where we can order and receive them within a week.
Replacement Filters not the same as the filters included originally
We ordered a refill replacement pack & when they came, I was disappointed that they were not the same as the ones we originally got with the humidifier. These new replacements are thinner & do not seem nearly as good quality. I called the rep & she said there was less than 1% difference between them & the originals. Hmm...not so sure about that. Maybe that's true but I'm still disappointed.

The hardest part about these filters is longevity and durability. But as filters go, these work quite well.

Found the right filter fast
I purchased a Honeywell humidifier this past winter and was very happy with using it in my bedroom. I could sleep better because I could breathe better. However, when I purchased the equipment, I did not buy additional filters. By the time I went to the store(s) to buy filters, I learned that the humidifier is a "seasonal" product and the filters were not being sold in the spring. I consulted my product information booklet and found Kaz.com. I am very pleased with the product as well as the pricing. The filters were delivered as promised and my humidifier is humming along nicely. Although it's considered a "seasonal" product, I've decided to run it all year as my air conditioning tends to dry the air also. Thanks, Kaz, for making my search easier!

Works for Me
I have suffered horrible environmental allergies since boyhood. For years now these filters have been an important part of my overall strategy to reduce allergens in my home. Improvement
The original wick filter fell apart in a few weeks. It lost all structural integrity and would not stand up on its base as required. The replacement has a bonded outer filter which should help. It may still fall apart on the inside.

Smaller filter
The filter I was sent was smaller than the original filter. It's not as tall and therfore will not hold as much water making the machine work harder.

The filter works ok. However the previous filters I have purchased were about twice as thick and as a result put more moisture into the air. Possibly I purchased the wrong filter but that is the one that your website indicated for my particular humidifier.

THESE FILTERS ARE EASY TO INSTALL IN MY HUMIDIFIER AND EASY TO TAKE OUT WHEN IT IS TIME TO RINSE THEM OR REPLACE THEM BECASUSE OF THE HANDLE ON THE SIDE. THE 6-PACK IS NICE BECAUSE THEN I HAVE ENOUGH FOR THE ENTIRE WINTER. ALSO, I SAVE MONEY.
New HAC504AW filters
Changes have been made recently to this filter (wick). It used to be about 1.25" thick but is now only about 0.75" thick. According to KAZ, this change was made to allow it to be used in additional humidifier models. Unfortunately, this reduction in size has also reduced the output proportionately and probably the life expectancy of the filters as well. I base my statement on the following experiment. I placed the old version and the new version in identical HCM 305T humidifiers and set the humidistats at the highest setting so that the units would not turn off. When the unit with the older (thicker) filter reached empty and shut down, the unit with the newer (thinner) filter still had about 40% water remaining in the reservoir. To insure that the difference was not due to the humidifier units, I then switched the filters and repeated the experiment. The result was the same. I can no longer humidify my home properly with these new filters (wicks). The humidifiers run continuously rather than cycling, and the room humidity remains well below desired levels. This was never a problem with the older (thicker) filters (wicks).

Haven't used one of my six filters yet because I found them at Target,and they were 1 dollar cheaper. Wish I hadn't ordered on line then. Lesson learned.

The quality of this product has changed dramatically. The materials are much thinner and do not provide the same filtering. This product is inferior to the previous ones.

The filters do a very good job. Our water is pretty bad, so I use water from the RO system and the filters last a very long time before needing changed. Recently we had a problem with a new gas log installation and a lot of soot got into the air. When I removed the humidifier cover the whole filter was just black. This shows just how much "stuff" is being removed from the air and trapped in the filter.

These filters are very efficient and effective, and they have a very good life span. I usually soak them in cold water once a week to eliminate a lot of the mineral deposits that build up, and by doing that, they usually will last a couple-to-3 months before needing to be discarded. Very happy so far!

Great Filter!
I have been using these filters from Kaz since we bought the humidifyer 5 years ago. Easy to install; easy to replace. We use the humidifyer every night and the filters last at least a month.
Air humidifier filters
We use the air filters with our Honeywell Humidifier. We haven't had any problems with either one and enjoy both how well it works and the ease with purchasing and receiving the new filters.

Haven't put one to use as yet, but they look much sturdier than the ones I used to get. Expect to be happy with them.

We use a humidifier because we have a 2 story house with a forced air heating/air conditioning unit that will tend to dry the air and the humidifier keeps some moisture in the air, particularly helpful with some respiratory/health situations. Buying the unit's air filters bulk as we do helps our overall costs.

Exactly Right
We received a Honeywell Humidifier from a neighbor with no supplies. After searching the Internet, we found the Kaz site and found exactly what we needed to fit our humidifier. Every year I've ordered these filters for my humidifier to get me through the cold, dry winter months. They work great and there is never a smell when filtering the air through the wet filter. I recommend these filters to any one who has the correct humidifier for them.

I find that these filters are adequate but I do not like how they get flattened in the packages. It takes some tweaking and very careful placement in the machine to make them re-conform to their designed round shape. Needs packaging redesign?

Excellent Filter
We just bought the Honeywell home humidifier and it now ranks #1 against all of the humidifiers we have owned (quite a few). When I looked into what filters were available, I found two different options. You can get it with the blue outer "secondary" filter and you can get it without. Paying a little bit extra made sense and we bought 6 of them. The filters are performing great and they are lasting much longer than we are used to before the filters gets discolored at the bottom.

The humidifier filters are great. They are well constructed, and they work every time.

I believe you've made a change in this filter recently (within the last 3 years). I used to buy the at Ace Hardware and they seemed to me much more absorbant and the humidifiers were able to put much more moisture into the air. The current filters seem to be much more brittle and far less absorbent. Consequently they don't put anynear as much as moisture in the air.
I have not changed the way I run these humidifers. They run 24 hours a day. They used to put a full tank of water into the air in a 12 hour period. Now they don't put a full tank of water into the air in a 24 hour period. They do not shut off and the air is very dry. I live in a high desert area.

These filters were the wrong size for my consol humidifier, and that's why they seemed to be such a bargain when I ordered them. I did learn that they are much more cheaply contructed as well as half the size as their bigger counterparts, the HAC-14N.
Just what I ordered
Nice to deal with a company that responded quickly and correctly when something is ordered from them. These filters seem to work even better than the original ones that came with the humidifiers.
