Unsure if working
This product was great for the first 4 months, now it does not seem to be working. I follow the directions and clean regulary. I soak the filter every 2 weeks. The fan works great, but the water level is moving down less and less the older the machine works. I really liked this product when I first bought it, but now am waking up with the symptoms I had before I bought it.
Works Great!
Unit works great. I had checked it out on Consuner Reports and I agree with their rating. I had a freat nights sleep and woke up with out my nose bleeding.
First Impressions
I just received the HCM-350 and have it up and running. I'm already impressed with the design and function of the unit. Most parts are dishwasher safe and the resevoir is the perfect size for running up and down the stairs (our filtration system is on the main level). It has a nice handle for carrrying and is not at all bulky. We are using this for our baby's room, a much needed upgrade from a cheaper filter free model that spit white dust everywhere. I'll give a more detailed review on Amazon after a few months of regular use.
Good In beginning
I have only had this humidifier a few months and it doesn't seem to be putting any moisture in the air. I have to constantly wet the filter because it is always dry and the water level doesn't change. I am not sure it is working properly even though I have followed the troubleshooting directions in my manual. I know my house does not have over 60% humididity and this should be working!

Germ-Free Humidifier
I like this humidifier because it's easy to set up the best feauture is that it 's very quiet. I only wish I did not have to keep adding water to the tank so often, otherwise I believe it's the best humidifer I have bought so far.

Quiet and effective
We are a home schooling family living in a 2-story farm house with 4 bedrooms-- so the most difficult decision was where to run the humidifier. We started with it in our central dining room; the largest room in the house which doubles as our class room and where we spend the most time.
What I am most impressed by is how quiet this humidifier operates. Even on the highest fan setting, its motor runs quiet. When the household is at rest, the loudest noise it makes is an occasional gurgle from the water tank-- similar to having an aquarium in the room.
We are re-filling the tank on a daily basis so I know it is humidifying the air. However, we do not see a plume of mist or find condensation around the unit as we faced with previous humidifiers.
I trust the UV feature is doing its work to eliminate germs in the water. This provides additional peace of mind.
Overall, I consider this to be the best humidifier we've purchased in the past 20 years.

Bought a duplicate of this model for another room, had a large floor model dehumidifier but large bottle was too heavy and it was difficult to start each winter season. These take up less room, jugs are lighter weight and easier to fill due to the flat bottom design. The first one that we bought last year worked well and was simple to use so I ordered another one!
Breathe Easy!
The Honeywell Cool Mist Humidifier model HCM--350-TGT does a great job in keeping the humidity in my bedroom at a comfortable level.The dryness in the room without it is not very pleasant. I like the ease of operation and that the unit runs very quiet on the low speed. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I would have preferred a larger water tank.
Bad Product
I bought two HCM-350 humidifiers one week apart through Walmart. The first works great. The second one does not. The filter in the second one is half the thickness of the first one. The first one stands up like it is supposed to. The second one flops over like a wet dishrag. The filter is clearly defective. Customer Care was no help. They simply said take it back to Walmart. I want another humidifier that works but I'm afraid to get another Honeywell HCM-350. Why not stand behind their product and send me a filter that works. I know they have them because I have one in the first unit.

Great medium-sized humidifier
I suffer from sinus issues (dry nose is the biggest complaint). I've had warm steam humidifiers in the past, and they always felt uncomfortable to leave on for a long time.
Bought this unit from Home Depot and noticed the difference after just 2 hours on LOW setting.
Cant sleep with it on High or Med, but Low seems to be fine.
Only complaint is that the tank leaks when carrying from bathroom to my bedroom.
Works well
Bought this model to replace a cheaper version. This model works well. Easy to fill and very quiet. The vapor doesn't have any weird smell and it has an indicator light for when the UV light is operating. A full tank of water usually lasts for three nights of sleep. Liked so much we bought another, so each of our kids have one. Really good to have in the winter when the air is dry from heat.
Too Noisy
Much too noisy for me!!! Its advertised as very quiet, but is noisy, noisy, noisy. I shipped them back and had to pay $25 shipping fees. A poor choice.
Great humidifier
So far, this humidifier works well- quiet, three options for fan/moisture level; seems sturdy and doesn't take up a lot of space. I'm glad I bought this model.

This is my third Honeywell Cool Mist Humidifier of this same model. I run them non-stop 24 hrs a day and they perform very well. I have used other humidifiers, but I like these best.

The first day I got this, the filter burned or something somehow. Now I have to buy a new filter and I only used it a few times. If the filter part worked out fine I would have given it a much higher rating.

I don't have much luck when it comes to humidifiers. They usually break after 1 year. The last one I had was made by Sharper Image. It was a cool mist humidifier. I spent hours researching to find a new humidifer last year and came across the Honeywell HCM 350 model. It had basically everything I was looking for.

The only con I must say for now is that it has a Wick Filter. I wanted it to be filter-free but if the wick filter is the only thing I have to replace each year, it's cheaper than buying a new humidifier.

Impressive!
I'm really glad this humidifier is working out for us! Our bedroom is 285 sq ft (19'x15') and within an hour, I noticed a considerable difference when using this humidifier. If your room is 300+ sq ft, I would not recommend a medium humidifier like this one, get the large. The replacement filters are $10, not bad considering it is 99% germ free. Although not required, I use bottled water (Culligan reverse osmosis) in the tank. I'm thinking it will save the life of the filter...we'll see. The low setting is VERY quiet, practically whisper. The high setting isn't terribly loud. I actually enjoy it for white noise while we sleep. Try it! You won't be disappointed!

I bought 2 of these cool mist humidifers to put in 2 different rooms in our house. One of them is working wonderfully--quiet, efficient, mist output good. THE OTHER IS DISASTROUS! It doesn't work at all. The fan runs, there is no output of moisture; when I check the filter, it doesn't stay wet, but dries out. The most FRUSTRATING part of this is my inability to TALK to anyone at Kaz. I stayed on the phone 15 minutes and no customer service person came on--and then after waiting, I was cut off.

This is the second of this humidifier we bought. We use the first in our son's room for over a year without any problems and found it to add cool mist in a small to mid sized room. We had previously purchased another humifier (a popular brand and unit) to have problems in first few months, despite following maintenance schedule.) That product completely failed within 1st year but of course after the warranty expired. Would recommend this very simple product, good design, sizable resevoir.

Too Loud
The humifier looks nice ad works well; unfortunately the unit is very loud. I can hear it upstairs even though it is set up downstairs. I am returning it to the store where i bought it as defective (by design.)
The fan is probably out of balance. Although it would be more expensive, a larger slower running fan would be much quieter; however, this would require a larger more expensive motor.

Very Quiet!
I purchased this model after my daughter came home from having jaw surgery. I was attracted to the model because it was germ-free but also because it said it was quite. I am happy to say it is extremely quite making it easy for my daughter to rest while the unit runs continuously. If I had to find a fault, I would say it would be nice if the resevoir was just a little larger and could run longer between fill ups. Otherwise, I am extremely please with the unit and would gladly recommend this unit to my friends.

Great humidifier
I'm very happy with this item. We bought it to replace an old humidifier in our master bedroom -- and what a difference. I didn't realize how noisy the old one was until we got the new one. It's so quiet that we can barely hear it. It's been a great purchase and am thinking of buying another unit for another room in my home.
