good, too noisy
This is a nice product, however I'm finding it loud compared to my last humidifier. The reviews also said they were only filling it every 48 hour and I have a smaller house and I'm having to fill it every 24 hours which is a mild disappointment. It works and the air has more humidity again which is the ultimate goal.

This model runs continuously which it didn't specify on the box. Our previous humidifying only ran when the % of water content dropped. I like that better than continuous. This unit uses way too much water even on the lower setting. We have to fill it at least twice a day if we run it constantly. Will not re-purchase this product.

I just got the machine today, so I don't have much experience with it yet. The manual seems well-written and easy to understand. It looks like the humidifier should be easy to maintain and clean.

Easy to fill, easy to clean, and easy to use. The light could be a little bit dimmer. Works for me.
I purchased the unit because of my dry eyes and the cool moisture has helped my condition.
Nice and compact
I thought that this unit would outpout a little more moisture since it is designated as a large room unit. It's doing it's job, but not as fast as my previous humidifier. I can't seem to get my humidity any higher than 35 %. I'll wait a few more days and see if it improves. Otherwise, I may have to get a second unit to compensate.
Stopped working
Water stopped flowing across the top. I cleaned the pump a handful of times and each time it works for 30 seconds then water stops flowing again. Also when turning off the motor is loud and clunks until it stops. Have had for less than 2 months, should not have broken down already.

I bought the Kaz brand cool mist humidifier even though there were many brands offered at the store I shop. I had read product reviews and felt this one met my requirements. I am very impressed with this humidfier so far and would definitely give it this rating. The rating would be higher but I have not had it long enough. Should it continue to perform as it has been, and I get excellent customer service if I have any problems with it, then I would give it the highest rating available. Hopefully, I am not too premature with my thoughts and ratings. The air in my home was so dry before this purchase and moisture was definitely delivered into the air.

Not Impressed
I honestly can't tell a difference so far. I purchased a humidifier with hopes of improving my dry sinuses and adding some hunidity into the air, which it has failed to do both. I am not very impressed with this model, and almost disappointed. We live in the city and I'm pretty sure we don't have hard water, but our filters need replaced--we've only been running it a week and a half for about 6 hours a day!

Well, this was not my first choice for anew humidifier. It was my second choice.Boy, did I make a mistake. My first choice, a competitor's machine, turned out to be a piece of junk. I was back at Wal-Mart at 5 AM tyhe day after Christmas turning my junky one in and exchanging it for my wondeful Hunnewell HCM-750.
What a difference! It was approximately the same cost as your competitor's unit but it is a much better machine. I like the fact that I can fill it fom the top, that the filters are available at Wal-Mart and that it is a very quiet. Thank you, Honeywell!

Honeywell Humidifier HCM-750
We have never used a humidifier in our home before. We found out on a TV show how important it is to use one in the winter time. By doing so, you can cut heating costs because humidity in the air of your home will keep you feeling warmer much like a humid day in the summer feels warmer. We have been very happy with the unit, its design, and how easy it is to care for.

A lot nicer than the brand I had before where you had to remove the tank, turn it upside down, take out a plug to fill it. A lot quiter operation and can't see the mist.

wokked great fist day. water pump stopped pumping second day. went through troubleshooting in book and cleaning instructions. no luck. trying to get hold of company to find out other ways to fix problem. if unfixable,i want a different one shipped to me.

Like prduct, replacement filters a bit much but will work with that! Hope they last a while.
Great Machine
I only gave it 4 stars because after using it for 3 days and then leaving it off for 24hrs, I went and turned it back on and now the motor/water pump is making loud noises. Called the company and they are sending me a new pump. I am hoping when I recieve the new pump and put it in that I do not have the same problem.
Too much work
We are very disappointed with the unit. Has to be cleaned constantly. Filters mildew weekly and you cannot buy the filters anywhere except online. It is just a very high maintenance product.
Honeywell easy care humidifier
we had been waking up with dry throats and decided it was time to purchase a humidifer. I have always trusted the Honeywell name, so when we came across this product we bought it. Was very easy to set up, instruction manuel was very helpful. We have been using it for 72 hours now and just love it.

Big Headache!
I purchased this unit and have been disappointed from the start. It has never worked on high speed and the motor has become extremely noisy from the bearing in the pump metal bushings spinning on each other. Finally just gave up on it. Also even with the filter, has required frequently cleaning. Would not buy this product again and probably not another from the same brand. Very disappointed!
Motor Issue
If the motor had not gone out a month into our use, I'd be thrilled because the unit seems so easy to operate and care for. Almost too good to be true!

I JUST RECENTLY PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT. THE OLD HUMIDIFER I HAD WAS A FILTERLESS HUMIDIFER MADE BY A DIFFERENT COMPANY. iT WAS LOAD AND WA ONLY FOR A SMALL AREA. THIS HUMDIFIER IS FOR A LARGE AREA, YOU DONT HAVE TO TAKE OUT THE TANK TO FILL IT. ITS LIKE WATERING A PLANT! MUCH MORE CONVENIENT! I HOLD 1.5 GALLONS SO THE TIME BETWEEN FILLS IS A GOOD AMOUNT OF TIME. IT IS QUIET AND IT WORKS REALLY GOOD! I NOTICED A DIFFERENCE IN MY HOUSE IN THE SAME NIGHT I BOUGHT IT. IT HAS INSTRUCTION ON HOW TO CLEAN AND FROM WHAT I CAN TELL YOU CAN CLEAN MOST OF THE PARTS. SOME HUMIDIFERES YOU CANT DO THIS AND THEY CAN GET DIRTY. SO FAR I AM VERY PLEASES WITH THIS PRODUCT! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I like it. It is easy to clean. It maintains a humidity level of at least 50% during the day when the heat is turned up and a humidity level of at least 56% at night when the heat is turned down. The only problem that I had with it at first was that the water would stop flowing a short time after I refilled it. I think the reason was an air bubble in the hose. So, after I fill it, I jiggle the container a little bit, and that seems to have solved the problem. It is the perfect replacement for a Duracraft evaporative humidifier that I liked very much, have used probably for at least 15 years, and could no longer find in the market place.

I ordered this for my mother because she could no longer handle the weight of carting around gallons of water for the humidifier she had. She loves this model. It is easy to fill, very quiet, and she is completely satisfied with the product. This one is a winner for anyone looking for a room humidifier for someone who has issues with sloshing gallons of water about.

I purchased this item for my mother's apartment. She is 85 & has a walker. I set it up for her but think it may be too hard for her to maintain. It probably serves her living space better than the smaller one. For now she is using the smaller one. In retrospect, I probably should have purchased one at a time. too soon to tell which one is the best for her needs. The price & coupons were worth the effort. I was very pleased with the person on the phne that helped me make the decisions on what would fit her needs. He was very polite & informative. When I went to the stores( Target, Walgreen's, Wallmart) I found no help or correct information. I was told nobody makes a cold steam humidifier that fills from the top! Thanks, Julie

Outstanding Humidifier
The HCM-750 is a well designed humidifer - it's quiet, the trickling water is relaxing to listen to and watch, and filling the unit with water could not be more convenient. The entire unit is very easy to disassemble for cleaning, the parts remove effortlessly for cleaning in a sink or dishwasher. This humidifier does not get dirty or clogged with minerals like others I have owned, because the pump keeps the water moving which prevents algae and minerals from settling and building up within the humidifier holding tank. Since the HCM-750 is evaporative, there are no white dusting issues. An A+ humidifier, I bought 2 - one for my first floor (which is 1250 sq. ft.), and another one for my master bedroom (roughly 500 sq. ft.). In both locations the HCM-750 keeps the relatively humidity at comfortable levels. Very well-engineered humidifier for the cost, does the job and it's very easy to maintain.

Disappointed
Bought this last spring to replaced a humidifier that I had for many years. I liked thecompact, easy to fill design as well as the dishwasher safe parts. It worked great until I cleaned it the first time. Put all the dishwasher safe parts on the top rack and washed per manufacture instructions. I did not use the heated dry cycle and the parts came out a little warped and would not fit in the unit properly causing it to trickle water very loudly. After a couple weeks, (and with the help of some duct tape), the top pieces settled back into their original shape and the trickle stopped and it worked fine. This fall I took it out of the box and the now the pump runs EXTREMELY loudly. Have tried "reseating" the pump as instructed in the manual and still runs very loudly. Also tried cleaning out the pump but no luck. Would like to try replacing the pump but doesn't look as if one is available for purchase. I'm very disappointed to say the least.

No longer works
We purchased the unit last year. We boxed it up the summer and now when we turn it on, the pump no longer works. Very dissapointing.

A little disappointed, worked great all winter. Took it out after being stored over the summer, pump has stopped working on mine as well. Other than problem with pump after one winter of use, and availability of parts, it worked well for the short time we used it.
Pump SUCKS!
I had the product for 1 week and the pump went out. I contacted customer service, they were very friendly and sent out a new pump, which lasted the rest of the winter. I get it out again this year, and the new pump now doesn't work. I give up on this model, and possibly Honeywell products altogether. This shouldn't happen.

I live in an area that has very hard water and just bought an HCM-750 to replace an ultrasonic humidifier, HUT-200. The HUT-200 is very quiet but because of the hard water it produces a very fine white dust that gets everywhere. The HCM-750 doesn't produce any dust but is much noisier.
