1. The pad got nowhere as warm as my old Kaz.
2. My old Kaz can be set by touch, and although the package showed the same set-up, the actual pad was by sight only. When I inquired, I was told they were now all made that way. Since I use it to help me sleep, that type is not useful. I returned it.

Love this heating pad. Big enough to cover your shoulders or lower back. Like the auto shut off.
Defective Product
I bought one of these for my elderly mom and she used it only a couple of weeks when she started having problems. The lights on the control would blink after a few minutes and she would have to unplug it and plug it back in. The same thing would happen again and again. I examined the power cord and noticed that the insulation was cracked and bare wire was exposed. I took it back and exchanged it for a new one and it did the same thing after a few weeks of use. The heating pad received many negative reviews at Amazon and is not designed very well.
Great Product
I've just ordered another one of these heating pads because they work incredibly well, and I now keep one at work and one at home. Great esp. when recovering from surgery and you need soft heat to sooth the ache.

I recently bought this King sized heating pad from Kaz. It's just great at a super discount price. Shipping is a great bargain, too. I find that the pad gets hot enough and has to be turned down sometimes. I find the Kaz Soft Heats to be exceptional and they last a very long time compared to other brands. I use mine almost continuously on many painful areas and find that they last up to one year. I;ve been buying from here for years now and get many discounts bringing the price way below what I would pay in a retail store. AAAAA++++. Well worth the price of buying products from here.

I like the softheat heating pad because of the auto shut off and moist or dry heat option. I had one before and liked it so much and was unable to find another. So by looking on the back and finding Kaz''s web site I ordered not only one but 2 because they were so reasonable.

Heating Pads are exscellant but would be better if the turn-off time was longer such as 3 hours since the pads are used for over night purposes.

i just purchased two heting pads, I wonder where did i see 240 Volts that's what I wanted, now I received the Heating pads and they are for 110 volts. I did go on Kaz site again and see the voltage is not listed anywhere, I needed these for 220 volts only. Just got heating pads for which I have no use.

We used to buy this at walmart but they no longer carry it. found it to be much cheaper on kaz.com and convenient to order. this is a durable product, as we have found other brands

My wife and I both like the new heat pads. The fact that that the new pads are a larger physical size makes them very nice to use. I am not so sure that I like the timer shutoff, but the thing works great.

I have to say this isn't the first time that I've used a Kaz product, and I had to just purchase another heating pad, so I went with this product after looking through their products. Not a bad choice I'd like to say. It works very well, which I wasn't much surprised at really.
First impressions, they have a cover to the heating pad, along with a piece of cloth (that I didn't really use to be honest, so I cannot review that part of it), and then you have the pad itself with a control that's attached in the middle of the cord.
The control itself has three settings, something I was a little dismayed to find, as my other pad has four. I assumed at that point that it may not get as hot as my other pad, although it doesn't make a difference after all when using it. At level three, it was hot enough but not hot enough to cause injury.
A good purchase, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase a replacement when this one gets worn out from Kaz again.

Because my other heating pad had worn itself out, the search for a new one was the reason that brought me to Kaz.com. Upon receiving my order, the pad was put to use that evening. My husband and I both, like the xtra-large size of the pad, but really do wish that the 'high' setting was warmer than what it actually gets. Our electric blanket, that too cuts off after an hour of use, gets warmer than the pad. It does alright for the need that we both have, but yet, we are not 125% satisfied with it.
Due to the fact that we own two other products from Kaz.com, we will need to visit again. But I am looking elsewhere at this time for another heating pad, in hopes that it will get a bit warmer. The intro included indicated that it was meeting standard guidelines, but knowing that the other 'pad', plus our 'blanket' get warmer than this pad, I am uncertain in which to return the product or keep it, and look again.

Regarding the SoftHeat heating pad:
1. The cover is made of a far too flimsey material. I had to take the covering off my old pad and use it on the new one even though it does not quite fit correctly.
2. The slide adjustment for the heat level is not as good as the old button control. The adjustments are not clear enough from one level to the next.
3. It's a good shape and size, however, and I appreciate that such a device is availabe.

I love this product!!!!!! So much so that I purchased 3 of them!!! It is larger than the regular heating pad and works wonderfully to relieve my aches and pains....It is so good that 2 of them have gone missing to my family and friends. A good product at a great price!!!
A Great Find
Every few month's I buy another heating pad. Because of a pinched nerve I had constant back pain. The price is great and you can't find a better buy. I really like the king size better than the regular heating pad.
