Office
I purchased this item second hand. I bought a new filter and new pre filter. I run this in my office at work and it does a great job. When I have to sleep on the couch in my office (I am very busy at work) I crank it up to high and the sound is very soothing. Great product. Get the filters on the aftermarket.
Moves air but noisey
The 50150-N filters the room air well, but it is fairly noisey.

When we first got it up until now it worked wonders. Its been less than a year and the fan motor is starting to go on it when in the high position and the medium position its not as loud and then in the low position there is no air coming out. Thats why I gave it a 3 its a great product but for not even having it for a year and it stops working thats a bit ridiculous. I am returning the product and hope to have it fixed and able to use it for several more years!
5 years and going strong
Have had this in our bedroom area for 5 years, run it on low most times and it's still running just fine.
I replace the pre-filter regularly, and blow out the HEPA filter with an air compressor (from the inside).
Amazing how much dust it collects.
I've been through 3 Honeywell humidifiers that I use only in the Winter, but this keeps going 24/7 365.
Loving it so far!
My husband and I just purchased this filter as our apartment is closed up all winter and right now we're under severe stagnant air warnings in our region for the next week. As I suffer from allergies and asthma, we were more than happy to find this filter.
It was easy to set up and use right out of the box, and while it is a little louder than first expected, for what we've seen so far in the change in air quality in just this short amount of time I am very impressed. Thank you very much!
Love it so far!
Just got the air purifier for our bedroom. We have to sleep with some "noise" so we've been using a fan. Well that has created a lot of dust and sneezing! So we got this air purifier and we love the "noise" it makes lol and it seems like it's going to be great with the dust!

allergy symptoms & some days I can't wait to put it on. I've owned pets all my life, it really
helps with pet hairs & fleas. I live in an apartment complex with cooking odors lingering in
hallways, a bathroom with no window, and an old sick dog. I don't feel I could ever be
without this product again!

I have used Honeywell air purifiers for years and I have been very happy with all of them. This is my fourth unit. I use units because I have dust allergies, live in an old house and we have cats. With the units, I'm not congested in the morning. It's absolutely unbelievable what these units pull out of the air. To think all that would have gone into our lungs!
Another important benefit is that the units act as sound machines -- exactly what city dwellers need to keep out the noise of cars, helicopters, firetrucks, neighbors, neighbors' lawnmen and contractors, etc. The reviews were right: The 50150 R does sound like a plane on the high setting and its blue light emits enough light to not need to turn on a light for a middle-of-the-night trip -- but turn the speed to low and cover the light, and this unit is perfect!
Beware
I used this product during the day set on low in my little apartment. It quit working just over 13 months of use. I could see on the pre-filter it did catch some dust but anything with a fan running will do the same. Anyhow it was wonderful to use as "white noise" to drown out my neighbor on the other side of the sheet rock. If you are going to buy one, buy it from Walmart so if you have trouble with it you can trade it in for another one. Kaz wants you to inclose a $10.00 to help with there shipping the new one to you after you pay right at $20.00 to ship your broken unit back for a trade-in.

We are very satisfied with this air purifier. We purchased 2 of them at the same time. It is a bit loud when it is put on high, but we only put it on high when we are not in the room. On the lowest setting the noise isn't that bad. The low setting isn't any louder than my husbands oxygen generator. We would recommend this product.

True HEPA Air Purifier
My True HEPA Air Purifier has done a great job of controlling the dust and allergens that are generated by a room full of birds. The airborne particles from some of these birds are potentially harmful to my lungs, but I have never had a problem thanks to the Air Purifier doing its job.

Hepa Air Purifier
I have purchased this Hepa filter 3 times. Why? Because I loose them to my grown kids. They love them! This better stay with me. I love the fact that it has a permanent Hepa.
Great purchase
We are so happy with our purchase of the Honewell 50150 with the HEPA filter. Previously, we had purchased a few "room size" air cleaners through national distribution stores, and within a few months, we had to replace filters, and after awhile, could not tell the difference in the air.
My husband and I are still smokers, and my complaint is even I do not like the smell of the smoke permiating the house. While placement of this filter is a little tricky, as it needs room on each side to properly filtrate, we could not be happier with it. We've had it just a couple of months, and no problems or complaints!

Poor Packaging
The product seems to work fine. The problem I have with Kaz is the $100+ air purifier I bought came in a cardboard box with no paking material. It was not even in a plastic bag. It was placed in the box on it's side. The handle on the top is badly deep scratched with the edges chipped completely off. I'm on disability and do my best to make good choices buying from good companies. Guess I made a mistake buying from Kaz. So I was going to take a chance and give you folks some more of my money by buying the "HDF-120-Q Hepa." But instead I chose to buy on Ebay. Found one for $76.01, Open box of course, But I bet it will be packed better than the one I paid top dollar from Kaz. Waiting on the FedEx truck as I type this. TIGHTEN UP your shipping dept. some poor folks expect a little more for there money.

50250 Model
This model works well but is noisy. It purifies the air, removes smells, and keeps the dust down. I have owned another 50250 model for about 2 years. I had ordered the 50150 model for a smaller area as I am pleased with the 50250 performance.
This is not the model I ordered, butit was substituted after I received a damage 50150 and had to send it back. I did not want the larger model due to the size bedroom it was to go in and because I knew the larger model was noisy. However, I will just keep it as I have already had to send the damaged model back. Even though I appreciate the prompt turnaround, I am disappointed that customer service would just assume that large would be better.

I recently bought 2 air puriifiers, model #50150. They were delivered within a week. They are a little noisy, & I am not happy with the light on while I sleep. However, I am getting used to both of these little inconveniences. Compared with the effiecitveness of these machines in cleaning the air, they are minor indeed. I CAN BREATHE & what is more important than that? Thank you very much for a wonderful product.

Works Great!
The air purifier was purchased to help rid the air of chemicals from the construction materials in a new office, carpet, cabinets, wallpaper...etc. It works great and has helped with the dust and other particles in the air, however it is not able to scrub the air of the toxic chemicals. I would recommend it highly for general air cleaning.
Honeywell True Hepa Air Purifier 50150
I've only had my unit for a few days but in this short time I've noticed such a big difference in the air quality in my bedroom. My only concern is whether the purifier is drying out the air or is it simply because it's winter time and the winter air is dry anyway. I will be buying a humidifier to supplement and go along with my purifier. Very happy with it.

Great Product
This is the second Honeywell HEPA filter I have owned. We were advised about Honeywell HEPA filters by my wife's doctor because of her allergies in 1993. After running the filter in our bedroom for several years it eliminated her problems and it is time for a new one. I have purchased these units for all our children ..Ken B
