Defective Product

I've purchased this heater and it worked just fine. I have followed all instructions to the letter. One day I touched the power button and "nothing" so I've will be calling you today for further instructions.

Honeywell heater

I purchased this heater to replace a Honeywell heater ( I believe it was an older model this new one) that finally worn out. It was an excellent product..

THis new one is just as good except for one feature. The thermostate that turns the heater on an off is not very accurate. I use the heater to keep a extra room at 55 degrees. The heater set at 55 degrees warms the room to 60 to 62 degrees and then shuts off. It comes back on when the temperature falls to 54 degrees.

A Good Heater

I have a very similar unit, that has a remote control. It heats up the room quite efficiently. It's a nice, safe, stable unit that should not need to be replaced for a long time.

space heater

Own three. Delivers heat best feature thermostat that works. Worst no removable air filter, difficult to clean metal filter grid. fan bearings get dirty, noisy, and fail.

Heaters work great - simple to use - perfect for an office or we use multiple units for larger office spaces - runs quiet - doesn't take up much space. They were out of stock and still delivered in a reasonable amount of time. My only complaint is with the billing - I was given a coupon for 20% off, but the cost per unit increased by almost exactly that amount overnight, so I didn't really get any discount.

I have had ths heaters for years!!!! I have extra''s just in case one die''s. love them love them love them.... I only wish that I could find them in the stores....

oh boy :(

Bought two units in Dec. 2010. One was a little noisy, however they both seemed to function well. The noisy unit is completely dead at one month old. It's probably not worth replacing since shipping charges for warranty returns (in both directions) are not covered and will amount to nearly 70% of the replacement cost of a new unit...if I even considered the same model!

Trouble Shooting

Hello, my Honeywell Heater HZ-338 has been working just fine for the last 4 months. I use it at work. Now, after the weekend, it won't come on. I checked the outlet power, and it is fine. I don't see any re-set buttons. It has not been damaged in anyway. Thoughts?

Toasty warm ... but

This heater is replacing one that we got a year ago, the oscillation for which went to about a 1/2" swing and for that reason, I could no longer share it with my pod mate at work.

replacement

I sent a heater back because there was something with it to the place in Tennessee to be look at for repair, but I took a chance sending it because I had lost the store recite.they had it about a week or so , then on Feb.21 2011 I lok up and saw the UPS truck, and he was bring me a NEW HEATER, that they sent to replace the other one. I HAVE A HONEYWELL #HZ 338 SERIES FROM AMAZON.COM IT HAS BEEN A VERY GOOD HEATER. I GOT IT IN 2006.. BUT I DON'T UNGERSTAND HOW TO CLEAN THE DUST ON THE COILS IN THE BACK..THERE'S NO WAY TO GET INSIDE. THANK YOU..
