Filter replacement
The filter was a little different than I expected. Ones that I use to be able to purchase at a store were circular and fit directly over specific notches. The replacement was flat and thinner than the originals (for shipping I suppose) and needed to be wrapped around the notches. I wasn't sure that it would be a proper fit or the cover would close down. However, it worked all in all. And I am grateful to have some sort of replacement since I can no longer find them in retail stores in my town.

This filter not only works but lasts for quite a long time. Just turn the filter over each time and it causes the filter to have a longer life.
