Misleading Claim

This Permanent Hepa Type Filter simply IS NOT permanent!  After only about 4 months of using the -081C tower and vacuuming once a month, the plugged filter light stayed on constantly and there was very little air flow through.  I tried to find replacement filters through the store I bought the -081C but, of course, they said it was a permanent filter so they did not have any.

Now, a long time after giving up looking, I was pleased to find them here on the web site.  However, at nearly the same price for the required 2 filters as a new tower, I find myself rethinking the Honeywell unit completly or risk using the disposable filters at ~$15 each.

Disappointing...

Honeywell filters

I have owned my Honeywell air purifer for almost a year now and it is the best purchase I made for my home.  I have three animals and the difference in the air quality if amazing.  Have recommened to my friends and it is very easy to upkeep.

Replacement permanent filter

These filters work well but I have found that they really only can be vaccumed out only a few times, after which they eventually get permanently clogged and need replacement.

misleading

I needed these replacement filters for my air purifier, and assumed that the 2 needed for the machine would be included...was I ever surprised (unpleasantly) to receive only one, and find out that it was almost another $50 to receive the 2nd!!!! The online ad was misleading.

Not Happy

The online ad was misleading. And yes, I did copy this review word for word. I guess there are 2 suckers in this world.
