Great Filter
I do like this filter. I have never seen any white dust on furniture using this filter. However maybe because that our tap water is a little hard, I do need to change it often.
Not a good filter
My original filter that came with my humidifier worked great. This is the replacement filter that is to be used with my humidifier, but for some reason it does not work well. The machine has to be on high for it to work at all, and even then it is only as good as the low setting with the original filter.

Very, very disappointed! This filter doesn't fit my humidifier! According to your website this is the replacement filter I should order for model HCM-645. This filter doesn't fit my humidifier, it was about 1 inch too tall and the motor/cover wouldn't go down on it. We had to cut off about 1 inch to make it work, which wasn't an easy task!

The only problem I am having with my new machine is that it constantly runs. I have the fan setting on low and the other button i have set to the one with the one drop on it. I dont know how to make it not run 24 hours a day without shuting it off

The filter I ordered from Kaz.com was easy to order and arrived quickly and without any damage to the packaging. It's a quality product that works with my cool mist humidifier. The only complaint that I have is that it can tend to develop mold after a month or two, but this can be avoided by adding some humidifier bacteriostat to the water of the humidifier. I also feel this product is a little on the expensive side for what you get, but I like our cool mist humidifier and so I feel it's worth it.

These filters weren't as thick as the ones that originally came with the humidifier, but they worked reasonably well. I think they molded up faster, though.

I've been using the Honeywell Cool Mist Humidifier for two months now. When I ordered my replacement filters, they arrived on time and were in good condition. I will definitely order more filters from kaz.com.

My Honeywell humidifier can=me with a plain filter. It lasted about two weeks until it turned brownish and the sides wimped out.
I ordered a replacement filter that had a blue extra filtering cover around it.
It works really well nad lasts much longer than the original.

Honeywell Humidifier Filter
After purchasing a humidifier at CostCo, I had some difficulty getting the replacement filters locally (metro Denver). Finally I went to kaz.com and ordered them directly.
My filters were shipping promptly, were comparable in price, and I didn't have to make a trip to the hardware store. My order there finally did come in - the same filters as Kaz sent directly.
The filters have a stabilizing wrap of some kind of blue fiber around the outside, rather than just the wicking mesh of the original. So far, the replacements are functioning as well and standing up better than the one that came with the humidifier.

I have recently purchased several of these filters. I have to keep replacing it in order for the humidifier to work correctly. When I replace the filter, it works just fine for about a month and then It has to be replaced again. The original filters I got with this lasted the entire season of running the humidifier. This is becoming rather costly.

Hello. This filter works extremely well as it has an outer layer of protection to filter out particles as small as pollen, and also other pollutants that might get into the air flow. Without this, we would just be putting unfiltered air back into our room - with the hyrdated air. As long as one is humidifying the room, you might as well filter the air at the same time.
The evidence this works is the filter requires replacing about every 25 days and you can see the amount of gunk on it that is not going into your lungs!

I feel the 'product' designated that my husband & I purchased has not performed as well as before. Our firm belief is that the 'design' of the filter has definately changed and for the Honeywell model that it is made for. They have 'slimmed lined it' and the persay (honey-combed) part of the filter is "skinny". So we feel the 'output' for the 'cool mist' to go thru that is not up to performance matter. You need to put back a more 'thicker' part of the honey-comb part of the filter so that it retains more water to put-out the moisture for the cool mist.

I was disappointed when I opened the box and seen that the filter was thinner than the ones I bought from Kaz USA, Inc. last year for the same price. I understand that costs are going up on materials but I would rather pay a dollar or two more than get less for the same price. I hope the same does not happen when I order again.

This is a strong filter that effectively removes the inpurities from the water in our humidifier. I find that I prefer to change it monthly to keep it as fresh as possible, although it can be used longer. Its easy to use and dispose of. We keep extras on hand all winter.

As filters go, it either does its job or it doesn't. This one was the right size, and the right design for the model of humidifier I have. It came in a timely manner as ordered, and I have used it every dya since without problem.
One supposes that, in this world where very little is as it seems, or functions as advertized, it is a small victory for humanity when when a product does what it is supposed to do, so I'm going to give it five stars.

Recent purchase
I ordered the product on line and it was shipped to me via UPS. Product arrived in 2-3 days. The filter I ordered looks different than the orginal one that came with the uint I ordered. It looks to be tighter bound with blue material holding it together. Looks good, easy to install , and hopefully it will last 3-4 months.

The filters work well, however they seem to get covered with water scale rapidly. when this happens they do not wick the water very well. We are using softened well water in the system. clean filter work very well and allow for a great amount of moisture to be put in the air.

Filters works very well. Easy to put in & take out of humidifier. Only problem is availability. No stores in my surrounding area carry them. Since they need changed every month, this is a problem. Had considered getting new humidifier that takes no filters, except I like what I have.

I noticed that the product has changed where the filter is now a lot thinner. The previous filters were a lot thicker.

This was a quick and easy replacement. I wouldn't say it's any better than the original filter, but it has done a great job as a replacement.
Disappointed, but no choice
Like others here, I'm disapponted that Honeywell has decided to short-change their customers with a smaller filter. It is thinner than the original, and I believe it is shorter.
Shorter means more air can go around the filter rather than forced through it. Thinner means less surface area for evaporation. I would rather pay more for something the original size and effectiveness.
Will it work? Probably, but being that it is smaller, it will also clog up faster and need to be replaced sooner.

Honeywell/Kaz humidifier filters
Replacement filters for our Honeywell/Kaz humidifier are improved, but different. The dust separator on the outside surface is a real improvement, but the filter has been "shortened" and doesn't deliver quite the same amount of humidity. The solution is to run the humidifier longer (around the clock) and this is not reall a bad thing. Does require a bit more vigilance re refilling the reservoir, but this is only a minor inconvenience.

Filter is much smaller and less substantial than filter purchased last year. Very obvious less material was used in the manufacture of the filter. Filter does not work as well as filter purchased a year ago. Disappointed in filter quality.

Improved filter
This replacement filter is improved over the one supplied with the humidifier. It has a nice dust barrier and microbe inhibitor built in. A pleasant surprise.

My humidifier has no product number , was hoping you had lst years purchase on file, but the sales person did not have access to this info, said I had to call customer service during the week. I eventually found the filter number, then ordered online.
Also, I use 6 filters over the winter,but your quantities are 3 or 12. I have no room to store 12.
