The pads are great. They usually last for a few weeks but depend on how hard your water is. Mine is very hard.
The were on b/o so I had to wait for a little while to receive them.

Not sufficient for moderately hard water
Our water is moderately hard (we had it tested), and I replace the pads weekly in the humidifier, but that is not enough. I still get a significant scale build-up, especially in the hot water reservoir. Cleaning it off is a real pain.

No white mist
This filter does a wonderful job eliminating the white mist caused by hard water. I never knew how hard our water is...these filters become hard as a rock after a few days of use. I am glad they sale at a reasonable price because we go through them frequently.

Pads work well, but if your water is hard you will have to replace them every two weeks or so.
