The finding and purchasing was very easy, ordering went well. The product came in a timely fashion. The only issue I have is that the info didn't state what size window opening it would fit, just said it would work on a double hung window. Should have stated dimensions: Like fits a 37" to a 39" window. I got the product and my window is a 36 1/4" window, only fits a 37" window. I fixed it so it does fit. Product does work well and is good quality.

It works very well. However, I don't like the fixed panels that couldn't be flexible installed at the window.

ok fan
The fan works good, but as far as being adjustable, it's not so good. The other window fans we own have an extension that pulls out and retracts. This one has two plastic plates that slide on and off. It's either too big or too small. There really is no way to make it fit our windows. I have to prop it up and hope it doesn't fall over and go through the screen. Other than that, it's a really good fan.

This is the best fan out there. We have tried many. I purchased 4 of them to replace our old ones. They have the best fan blowing power of any of them on the market. We really like the fact that you can change the fan to exhaust without having to turn the fan around like other models. And the tempature control is just great . Set it and go to sleep and wake up cool and fan running already.

ordered this fan to use in my bedroom window at night. the fan part is nice and works as described--although i wish the low setting was even slower. the main problem was the side extension panels that are "adjustable" so it will fit in your window---well the solid plastic part that attaches to the sides of the fan were too long---with only 1 attached the fan wasn't wide enough!!--and with both attached they were too wide. tried every combination--extending the adjustable one out all the way---pushing the adjustable one in all the way--all to no avail----it just didn't fit--sooooo---i used a saw and cut the non-extendable one in half and viola---the extension panels fit. accordian style panels would have been sooo much easier than the solid panels. other than that the fan works very well and after solving the window problem i am very happy with my purchase.
Partsless wonder
The fan works great 4 stars (knobb are difficult to pinch and turn) but the 1 star is for the lack of available parts for this fan. With the extendable side panel it's too short to fit my window and with both panels it's much too long. I wanted to get another extendable panel but I guess I'm just going to have to cut the fixed panel down so it fits.
Window fan
Very useful to move air out of the room, or to bring cooler air into the room. I have my fan in a bedroom that is a considerable distance from the rest of the house and it greatly inhances air flow.

This fan definitely will circulate the air. I don't know what the CFM rating is, but it has a strong draw. A little disappointed with the extensions. One was not wide enough, two made it too wide. I had to do a little surgery on one to properly fit it in the window (minus one star for that). Not sure how useful the thermostat is. But overall, a good window fan for a great price.

Missing key features
Product has great speed and seems to be built solid. The front does not rotate to adjust the air and has no feet no stand up other than for a window as previous models that I have owned. Has not been warm enough to put in window yet.

Really Enjoy this fan it does everything it says! Worth the money, I should have it for years to come.
Honeywell window fan
Had a similar fan for the past five years, although that one was a remote controlled one. This fan works wonderfully well in an unventilated kitchen to get rid of odors and also to let in cool air. The only drawbacks are that there are no permanent covers for the fan when it's off and, it doesn't come apart for cleaning so after a season it needs to be replaced because of the dirt that accumulates on the blades. For the price, it's worth replacing every year.
Better B4
This is a good fan but Honeywell used to make a GREAT fan which is not available any moe. Model 628 had separate controls for each fan so you could run one of them...or not, AND you could run one intake and one outake if you wanted. it is a good brand but they are going backwards in their design.
Does the Job
I purchased this Honeywell Twin Window Fan to replace one I had used for years in my bedroom. It creates a strong breeze and I like the white noise of the fan; it helps me sleep. The one downside is that this newer fan does not have adjustible speeds for each blade like the older Honeywell fan did.
Ahhhh
My second Honeywell fan. One of the only ones that actually cools the air. Very efficient!
Love It!
I bought this fan for the window in my bathroom. Especially in the summer, it is too hot, and with high humidity it is impossible to do my hair and my makeup. This fan fits beautifully without using the included side panels. It is quiet, and I love the reverse button so I can exhaust hot air, or bring in outside air. This summer is getting very hot and this fan is on 24/7. I highly recommend this fan.
Perfect
The fan was perfect for what I wanted. It fits into my casement style window vertically so I can run it at night and keep the window almost shut. It runs quietly and works great.
Nice fan
Bought this for my sister after she said she wasn't getting much air flow with a regular fan. She had priced some like this one but decided they were too expensive. Don't know if the price was lower or not, but she likes the fan. She has windows that slide horizontally and has it up on it's side.
Hard to fit
This is a fine piece of machinery. -- I just do not understand why it did not fit the frames of my windows as delivered! I live in a manufactured ("mobile") home by Fleetwood, windows made by Alpine. It took me some time to jerry-rig the installation, instead of returning the fans. -- I wonder who designed the enclosure and the side panels.

WOnderful Fan...Just Wrong Size
We have had two Honeywell fans running forever.Love them. Purchased these and found they are no longer the same measurements....so although they are to fit virtually any window....they don't fit mine....just a little too long....even without the extenders. A big disappointment. BUT....if you want a quiet, well-running, long-lasting fan.....it has my highest recommendation. Just be sure to measure.
Honeywell HW-305 Twin Window Fan
I purchased two of these fans and they are almost perfect. They are hard to put in the window because of how the sides slide. However, once you get the "hang" of it, they work OK.

Was please with price and prompt delivery. Plan to use in coordination with our wood burning stove but have yet to install in doorway.
