Great Product
So far, the product works as stated. I like the fact that it has a digital thermostat and you can set to several hours at a time to turn off. I also like the fact there are several cooling levels

So far the fan seems to cool the room well. We have only owned it for a day but it appears to have some great features that my daughter will love.

Purchased fan to help reduce electric bill associated with air conditioning. I wanted a quiet tower fan; tried several different brands until I got a quiet fan. I received a great added benefit, there is a thermostat built into the fan which allows me to lower the air temp coming out the fan. Great fan!
Quiet set tower fan
The fan works amazing right out of the box after basic assembly. The fan has great blowing power and all 8 blowing speeds work great for when you need that lite air flow to powerful . In fact the eight speeds are the best feature on the fan, my boyfriend and I only bought a fan because it had a temperature control, thinking it would blow cooler air then a normal fan. " we live in Tucson, Az". Bought in the month of may to help out with the swamp-cooler in the house we rent: it works okay in keeping it cooler then the other tower fan we bought last year. We would have to say we would rate it better and/or be wonderful in a A/C home.
FAN of the fan
This is the second model of the Honeywell HY280 that we purchased in the last few years. It is quiet, and we really like the built in thermostat. We would give it 4.5 stars.

quiet set fan
Like the fan. It is quiet and has many features. Just got it so can't recommend fan until I see if it holds up. Only thing I would like changed is the time feature. It is on the fan but not on the remote control.
A very good and quiet fan
Hi,
I like my new HY-280 Honeywell (Kaz) fan. It's VERY quiet, possibly due to it's having EIGHT speeds.
Pros: 1. Eight speeds with lights for each one! 2. QUIET! 3. Remote control. 4. Cost.
Cons: 1. You MUST cycle upwards thru ALL of the fan speeds if you decide you'd like to lower the fan speed. This selection should've been bi-directional! 2. Also, the fan has NO memory of prior temperature settings you've made while the fan is on. Thus you are forced to re-enter your settings every time you turn the fan on IF you plan on using the temperature-maintain feature. 3. Short of disassembling the unit there is no way to clean the fan blades or the inside of the fan. Which leads me to . . . 4. The fan has NO filter. 5. The highest fan speed isn't as fast as some other fans.
So: Would I recommend this fan? I'd say YES if your price conscious and want a good quality fan. If you want filters or ionization features then look elsewhere.

Just bout my tower fan as a replacement. S far I am very impressed with the quality of the product and how quiet it is.
Tower Fan
I have only had this unit a week, but plan to buy a second one for another room. It was easy to assemble. The range of the air movement is much better than I have seen in equivalent models, it is quiet, and very easy to move due to the weight and carry handle on top. The best feature for me, other than the price, is the remote: able to control fan level and the oscillations. Would highly recommend this unit.

Not sure what to say. This is the second tower fan I purchased. The first tower fan just stopped oscillating. It's the same fan. I hope this one doesn't break on me. When working properly it's a good product.
Honeywell 8 Speed Whole Room Tower Fan
Works great. Would have been 5 stars had the base been more sturdy. Decent output. Remote capabilty & digital thermostat were both nice features. Fairly quiet even during use of Power Cool level.

Beautiful Design
Wonderful product so far. Just purchased a couple days ago and so far so good! The black, sleek design, and 8 options of cooling make this product the best! Love the remote that comes with it too. It fits nicely into tight spaces/smaller apartments where space is limited. Very quiet. Would like an option with higher power air flow, but overall I give it 4.5 Stars! Thank you for a great product!
Tower fan
When I first purchased the tower fan, I loved the way it worked and the shape and space conservation of it in regards to regular fans.. It worked all summer (since July when it was purchased) until this fall when suddenly, it stopped working this November when my Mother was in the kitchen making T'giving in Texas,..... I realized that I had already disposed of the box, but saved the owner's manual which led me to finding the website and writing this review with request of what to do next. I really thought this product would work longer than less than 6 months. I'm disappointed in the quality and how quickly it went kapoot! :-( I went to Target where I originally purchased the fan, but they couldn't help me since I didn't have the box and it was after 90 days. I ido have my receipt, proof of purchase, so please let me know what I need to do next. Thanks!
