I have been very pleased in the past with my air cleaner filters and saw that there was a 4 pack offered. I purchased them and am very thankful for the savings!
Prefilters have waste
Unfortunately you have cut these and end up wasting some of the Prefilter. PErhaps if you could get the exact amount, no waste? It's a shame as these are a bit expensive and you go through them fast.

What happened to quality?
These filters used to be superb. However, when I removed from packaging, noticed an enormous amount of tiny black fibers spreading all about. What good could this filter possibly do it it's shedding before being put in place? This never used to happen but these filter sheet now appear too thin to be of any value. KAZ's prices have increased while quality has plummeted. Keep meaning to phone in about this but so busy. What a bother!
Pre-filters
These filters fit exactly as needed when cut down to size. They do help with odors. I would recommend these filters to anyone. Don't forget to use your saving circle account to get a 10% discount.
It works
It was a little cheaper to buy this universal pre-filter. You had to cut it to the height of your machine, but that was easy. Just make sure you lay down newspaper before you take it out of the bag to cut it. It can leave a very small dusting of charcoal behind.

discontinued/replacements
Having purchased my filters before that were a certain product #, apparently those have or were either discontinued but in this order, the box notes that there are now obsolete and have been replace with the filters I have initially purchased. Which is the more current ones?

Same quality as original Honeywell 38002
Product arrives in retail box just like the picture. I have been using Honeywell 38002 prefilter for many years and this replacement filter material looks just like the original. There is another Honeywell HRF-AP1 product claiming to be a replacement for 38002, but these are not the same. I also ordered HRF-AP1 to compare and the 38002 filter material is about 10% thicker and 10% denser.

The Honeywell pre-filters that I ordered for my 2 air-filters were shipped and arrived promptly. They were the right type for my air-filters. I enjoyed the Kaz member price benefits.

Wish they were precut
Kaz is a great company and courtous staff, customer service, etc. My recent purchase of this product was shipped quickly and the only comment I can make besides at a fair and resonable price also, is that I wish there was a cutting line on the carbon filter in order to make it easier to be the correct size for my air cleaner. I had to shake off the dust, etc from the old one, line it up against the new one which was much wider and cut it from there.
Perhaps the manufacturer can create differant lines indented in order to alleviate this?
Pre-filters
My husband and I bought two Honeywell airfilters four years ago. We have enjoyed better health ever since, fewer colds and relief of hay fever! The replacement prefilters are easy to install. We change ours every three months as recommended. Joining the KAZ Circle of Friends is a good idea, because you get updates on sales.

Honeywell Universal Pre-Filters
Filters are what I expected. Too bad you put them on sale AFTER I ordered them. Also because they are universal there is some waste after cutting off two refills there is not enough left for a third.

I am extremely happy with the universal pre-filters that I bought. I have two air purifiers and found that I can replace the filters on both of my purifiers with one universal pre-filter because they are generous with the amount of matierial they give you. You have to cut the pre-filter to size so as I said they are very generous and I was able to use one filter for both purifiers.

carbon pre-filter
I received the pre-filters promptly. I was not sure when I ordered them if they were the correct size, but with a minimal amount of trimming they fit perfectly.
18155 Pre-filters
Purchased a set of four pre-filters for my Honeywell 18155. Turns out that each of the pre-filters wil make two , if not three, pre-filters for the 18155. This information would have been helpful prior to making my purchase decision.

I was horrendously disappointed -- and I ordered what I thought was a 4-pack -- instead I received two separate 2-packs. THEY DO NOT FIT!!!!!! They are about a foot too tall for my air filter -- and I ordered right out of the product instruction book!! Yes, I'd send them back for a refund -- but after the bizarre emails I received after having ordered them -- and the headache that it would entail to ship and make sure I got my refund -- I cut one down -- and will go to my local store to hopefully buy a replacement. No more ordering from you -- sorry- but can you blame me?

What a pain
I enjoy my hepa filter, but this pre-filter is a pain in the behind. It is not easy for one person to cut alone. It makes a mess when you do cut it up. I end up with approximately 3 inches of unusable product from each package. Why oh why don't they make the size you need?

Replacement filters
I ordered the multipack of filters because I have 3 of the Honeywell air cleaners in the house. They were easy to use since there are perforations to seperate them to fix the model I use. With the discount and free shipping they cost about the same per filter as I saw at Walmart so it made it worth getting them by mail.

I was tired of purchasing air purifiers which required purchasing replacement filters, and the "Honeywell" seems to have solved that problem with what so-far has been a good and efficient product. I purchased three, one for each bedroom.

Honeywell universal prefilters
This product works as well as the original. The prefilters are sold in a size that fits more than one machine. The downside is you have to cut it to fit. The upside is if you have a smaller filter you get two for one out of each prefilter

Great Value
The filters were exactly what we needed. We liked that we could save money by buying the 4-pack. The filters are one size fits all. They are perforated so that you can tear them to the size you need. We have two air filters and discovered that 2 filters will actually give us 3 refills by using what was left over. So from a 4-pack we get 6 refills which makes it an even better value.

I bought the four pack because it is a good value. The price is cheaper than buying the carbon filters on the local market. My only problem is with Honeywell for not making the carbon filters to fit the various sizes of Honeywell units. For my unit, I waste about 1/3 of the filtering media.

Honeywell Universal Replacement Pre-Filter
I did some research on the internet regarding buying Honeywell brand vs. generic brand. Most reviews I read said that the generic brands did not seem to filter as well - maybe less charcoal, inferior quality, etc. They ones I purchased from Kaz do seem to be good quality. I've only had them a few weeks, but feel they will outlast the generic brands. I will definitely be ordering again
A real bargain
I ordered the refills for my Honeywell air cleaner and was pleased with the prompt delivery and ease of use of the website. Imagine my surprise when the filters arrived and due to the "generic" nature of the pre-filter, being used on more than one model, I actually will be able to get "two" filters out of each replacement as you trim them to fit your particular unit. So, I got double for my money!
I'll definitely make my next new air cleaner purchase a Honeywell product since filters are so easy to find and price is very good.

Adjustable
I don't like that I have to cut these to fit my model. I wish I could just buy a pack of 4 pre-filters that actually fit. Other than that, they're exactly perfect. No smell upon opening, and they work just as well as the one that came with the air purifier to begin with (that I didn't have to cut to make it fit).

Filters are lasting about 90 days each. They do a great job keeping the fine particulates down in our home.
Honeywell Filters
My husband has allergies, so we have a small Honeywell filter in the house. It helps greatly reduce his suffering. The Honeywell filters are cost effective and perform very well with regards to allergen reduction.

Just as described. Since this is a universal filter we had to trim by hand to fit our model and this must be done with great caution. The 3 pack will keep us from having to go without the filter for a few days next time we need to replace!

These filters are exactly what the owners manual for the air cleaner calls for. The best part about dealing with kaz.com is the service - johnny on the spot! This most recent order was my second order through kaz.com and the service was excellent both times. i will continue to order thiese filters through kaz.com.

The four pack actually ended up being an eight pack because the size of the filter had to be cut to fit my air purifier which was a pain. I would have liked it to fit right away. Getting more for my money ,that is a good thing and a makes them more like 5 bucks each instead of 10 which is an ouch!
I didn't know that so had a bit of a fight changing the filter the first time. Hence my lower rating...

Honeywell Pre-Filters
I have been using Honewell HEPA filters for years and swear by them. I would however, like replacement pre-filters to be the exact size of my model, so I don't have to cut them and waste a lot of extra carbon filter. Maybe they make them, but I'm not aware of them.

I have a Honeywell 50150-N True HEPA Air Purifier and just recently purchased the Universal Replacement Pre-Filters. I was able to cut the filters in half and now I have two filters for the price of one. Great Price and fast delivery. Great product.

Product Review of Pre-filter
Actually I was quite disappointed that the literature on the website did not make a clear distinction that this filter was only ONE OF THE NECESSARY filters to use the airfilter. Had it been made more clear, I would have ordered the inner filter also. As it stands, I haven't had the time to go purchase the other filter.

Yea! Clean Air
We work in a very old building that has a lot of black who-knows-what crud coming out of the air vents. These filters do a great job of cleaning the air we breathe. And Kaz's great pricing and quick delivery are fantastic.

Perfect Pre-Filter
When I ordered this item, I expected to only get 4 prefilters, but when I went to put on my first one, I realized that the filter came in sheets, and I had to cut it. This means that I will actually have MORE than 4 prefilters, because the sheets are so long that they will last me much longer than if they were pre-cut. It even comes with a "cutting guide," but I didn't have to use it...I just measured the old one and cut the same size. I'm very happy with this product, and it works WONDERS in filtering out my allergens and even smells. I intend to keep purchasing these filters for the life of my purifier.
useful and convenient
I use these filters regularly in my Honeywell air cleaner: I have allergies and a cat (she keeps the mice away), and too much dust in the house. One box lasts a long time with my model of cleaner. The only problem, a minor one, is the little shreds of filter material that fall off when I tear or cut along the perforation for the right width for my cleaner, and cut the strip to length. So I do this over a wastebasket, and sweep or vacuum up the bits that miss it.
