The air purifier works great in my smoking room. It eliminates all the odor so the rest of the house is not affected.
replacement filter
The air cleaner I needed a replacement filter for uses two filters, a per filter that must be changed quarterluy and a hepa filter that must be changed twice a year. Kaz only sells the replacements in sets of one of each, whic is not practical since I will be buying extra (expensive) hepa filters. I called to ask for a replacement pre filter only, and bought the product suggested by the customer service rep. This filter is different, and much bigger than, the filter for my unit. I will try to make it fit by cutting it to size. I am disappointed that you do not sell the correct ore filter by itself.

i purchased this product on line, both the Honeywell Premium Odor Reducing Air Purifier Pre-filter &Honeywell HRF-H2 True HEPA Filter. I absolutely adore my honeywell TRUE Heppa AIR puruifier. As i read in another review when someone wrote within 3 hours of starting their TRUE heppa air purifier they could breathe. Me too. As life long user of sudafed or claritin D or breathe rite naseal strips it was a pleasure to have my stuffy nose work like noses are suppose to work without all the things i had used in the past to try to make my nose work somewhat like i thought it should. With a TRUE heppa filter it does. I read it makes a difference if the purifierit is " heppa like" or "TRUE heppa". Heppa-like is a waste of money. i write all this because a previous review helped me so much. KATZ helped too. I right away wanted to make sure I never ran out of the filters I need to make this continue to work. KATZ was listed in my honeywell TRUE air purifier as the place to get air filters on-line. So i ordered replacement filters the same month i bought my air purifier. On the online form i accidently entered the order twice i did not want that. I emailed Katz and they canceled the 2nd order without any disagreement. They have a "service"that will automatically notify me when i need to get new filters, so i have them before they need changing.. I never want to go back to my stuffy nose the way it was before i started this TRUE heppa air purifier, so that service is a big relief to me. there was a discount for ordering 2 filter, so i orderd 2 of each. But I wouldn't need the 2nd heppa filter for 2 years. My order came with 4 of the order reducers but ony 1 of the True heppa filters. That again was very easy to handle with KATZ through email. I wrote just adjust what has been charged to my credit card, I am okay with what i recieved, I'll be ordering more in the future, i just don't want to be charged for what i haven't recieved. They did me one better than what i asked, the next day i recieved the 2nd heppa air filter i had ordered and they told me to just keep the 4th oder reducing filter ,without charge,that i had not orderded. I will be using KATZ online for all my filters in the future and i'm thinking about getting a 2nd air purifier, which i will get from KATz online also. I adore my honeywerll TRUE Heppa air purifier but i will give it more time running(maybe a year to see if any unexpected issues crop up with it) before i get a 2nd one, but i look forward to having a 2nd or larger one in the future. I highly recommend KATZ as a vendor, they acted incredibly ethical with me. It goes without saying that everything shipped and was recieved on-time & in good condition. But all the rest happened that Katz dealt with very well from this customers point of view.
mini-Hepa filter
This is MUCH nicer than the filter that came with my Honeywell mini-HEOA. This one is charcoal, very thick and dense. The original was just thin foam.

B+ replacement pre-filters
I am very happy and relieved with this product. West Texas allergies have been killing me, and this has finally solved the problem. The only "con" comment I'd make is that these pre-filters need to be replaced about every month and a half here instead of every three months, even if I vacuum them near the end of their life; the crud this filter catches can almost be measured by the half inch.

This product works really well. I was amazed at the amount of dust that was collected by the pre-filter that was replaced. I would recommend using this pre-filter to trap dust and allergens and to prolong the life of the main filter. Kaz.com had the product at a very good price. Quick shipping too!

After purchasing a Honeywell air purifier, I hunted online for replacement filters and found them on the Kaz website. Not only did they have what I needed, but I was able to purchase them in packs of two instead of one. I am also a member of the savings circle which cuts down on the cost. Works more effectively than any other filter setup I've used for a very difficult job (West Texas dust, 5 chinchillas with volcanic dust baths, and much more). I change the filters more frequently than advertized, but all to high satisfaction.
Honeywell Type B pre-filter
I enjoy the fact that my Honeywell air purifier has an indicator light that tells me when I need a new pre-filter. The pre-filter is a bit difficult to install simply because it has to be tucked up into so many small plastic tongue & grooves. I think that if the tongues were slightly rounded or possibly a bit larger this installation process could be easier. However, I do like the fact that they hold the pre-filter securely in place. This pre-filter catches a lot of particles, which is great. Ever since purchasing the Honeywell air purifier my husband and I have noticed a reduction in the sinus infections we used to get due to cat and dog dander. We are pleased with this product.

I see nothing wrong with this product as areplacement for CZF-145 at this time.
Pre-Filters for Honeywell
Not impressed with the pre-filter. Much much lose debris falls from the black filter. I fear it will clog the HEPA filters, so do not plan to use these in my air cleaner unit.
