Honeywell Air Purifier

I had loud noise in the fan when just out of the box let run for a while to find if noise will stop it did so now running good at this point. I did not have to return to HSN

Excellent Until It Stopped Working

My Honeywell HHT-215 air purifer was easily maintained scrupulously according to its owner's manual, and the unit worked superbly for 2 years & 9 months until today when, after I'd removed and - as usual - cleaned its filter assembly components, its power switch seemed to stop working & the unit did not swtich on. (Yes - the outlet it was plugged into had power!)

In my experience the HHT-215 is simply the best air purifier and it costs little in energy to operate. But after 2 years & 9 months of sterling service it has failed to switch on - I wish it would power-up. Now I'm waiting to see how Honeywell/Kaz will honor its 5-year warranty.

It's Working Again!

Disregard the no-power report in my last review of this unit.

Turned out that someone in my building's basement had tripped the breaker for the outlet that my Honeywell HHT-215 air purifier plugs into - they tripped the breaker the moment after I'd checked the outlet and it showed power. About an hour later, when I checked my apartment's breaker panel I discovered the tripped breaker and switched it back on, which restored my Honeywell HHT-215 air purifier to operation.

So: 2 years, 9 months and counting and this Honeywell HHT-215 is still the best air purifier I've experienced.

Going Bad

I have had this unit for about 2 years and it recently has just started to make a hissing noise. We clean this unit regularly but cleaning it does not matter and the noise is getting worse. Please let me know what I need to do to turn in a warranty claim for this unit.
