Wierd Marketing

Very decent product for the price.Helped somewhat with my indoor allergy issues. I find the marketing of the five speed fan settings as settings to target specific functions - germs, allergens, etc. - kind of misleading. I could be mistaken. Also, the lower LED lamps may suggest to some consumers that the unit has UV lamp cleaning capabilities. They are purely cosmetic. Maybe misleading marketing as well. I am being brutal.  This is an efficient air cleaner !

This is a great product with many cool features, like auto-off time and sleep mode. Very Quiet operation. Easy to clean.

SATISFACTION of PRODUCT

My wife has a certain type of (cough when at sleep) difficulty with her throat (we own 3 cats, 2 with long hairs).  After only 4 days of use of the air conditioner in her room, her throat problem (according to what she says) has diminished about 75%.  She is very satisfied with the effectiveness of this product. Not even a year and there is an issue

good until stopped working

I purchases this item off an online retailer and was able to use it for about 4 day untill it stopped working properly. It began to go from the lowest setting to the highest on its own over night. I woke up to the purifier making, what I thought was the wind outside, a low to strong gusting noise of air. I realized it was the purifier. I had properly assembled it accorind to the instruction and plugged it in and it was left in an untouched area. I am truly dissappointed because it was working so well.

Awesome Christmas Present

We bought this for our grandparents as a  christmas present.  Our grandpa chain smokes in the house, they burn wood for heat, and they have two cats and one dog.  It was only used for one day when family came over and everyone noticed that the house smelled better.  The machine is very easy to operate and really quet--no one even knew it was running.  They also live in a very large 2-story, 4 bedroom, 2 bath home so it works great for large spaces.  I definitely give it a 5 star review and I know my grandma does too!  I would recommend it to anyone.

Best Air Purifier

This purifier is awesome. It is a snap to set up! The fan is very quiet!! I love the 5 options of cleaning and the filter clean lights. The blue glow is a great accent that you can have in on/off mode. I live with a smoker and I was amazed when I returned home from work, my house smelled so fresh and smoke free!!

Quiet and Efficient

I purchased this unit today and within 20 minutes could tell the difference in air quality. The added bonus is that it is very quiet.

2nd one

Allthough it's hard to find filters for the machine and it makes one of the two machines is making a crackling noise, very quietly, the Honeywell Airgenius works so well I bought a second one for the bedroom.

I keep both machine on Oscillate and at level 5 even while sleeping. The machines work great and the air quality is noticably different. As a smoker I can say these are the perfect machines. It may not eliminate 100% of the smell of the cigarettes but I'd say it easily cuts the smell down to about 20%.

I'd give it 5 stars if I could find the odor reducing prefilter replacements.
