Alvaro Avellaira joined Kaz as a Trade Marketing Manager for Latin America and Mexico in 2007. In May of 2009, he was promoted to the position Director of Sales and Marketing for the Latin American Region. He is based in Latin American RMO headquarters in Santiago, Chile. His RMO encompasses 17 countries from Mexico to the Caribbean to the southern tip of South America. In his career prior to Kaz, Alvaro worked in brand management for several international brands such as Gillette, Braun, and Duracell. Alvaro graduated with a degree in Civil and Industrial Engineering from the Universidad de Santiago de Chile. He also received a Masters degree in International Trade at the University Complutense de Madrid, Spain.
