Vicks V3500 Replacement Tank

I dropped and broke the water tank on my Kaz humidifier which has been in use for 6 years.  I run it daily for about four months per year. This is an identical replacement for the original tank, the price was good and shipping was fast.   Hope I can now get several more years service out of the humidifier.

I ordered a replacement tank because the cap on my existing tank no longer worked.  Two of the three notches on the cap had broken off.  These notches screw into grooves in the tank, forming a tight seal for the cap.  Unfortunately, when the replacement tank arrived, one of the notches on the cap was already broken off.

I called Kaz and the customer service rep was courteous.  She agreed to send me another cap, free of charge.  It arrived intact, but the cap doesn''t screw into either tank (either the existing tank or the replacement tank I received).  Apparently, the cap is from a newer model....and it simply won''t screw on properly.

I gave up, and will buy another product.  I was treated with respect, and the products arrived in a timely fashion - but they simply didn''t get the job done.
