This product worked great for me until the seal on the tank cap began leaking. Kaz apparently does not provide a replacement part so I have had to buy another vaporizer. Why don't they put the tank refill cap on top of the tank instead of on the bottom? That way you wouldn't have to worry about a leaking seal. Hate having to do away with a perfectly good vaporizer simply because I can't get a replacement seal.
ReliOn cool mist...
Aaah, the relief of humidity on a cold winter night!! We loved it. Goooood sleep, comfy, and less snoring, choking, and fewer sore noses. A whole year of it! Then, Wal-mart didn't sell replacement filters until a year after we purchased the machine. Oh well, I made do. Then, suddenly-I found a new filter--Ooooh sublime!! This year, the rug got wet under the stand. I mopped it up, stacked up some towels, and started the cool mister. Towels got sopped. I set the half filled mister into a large pan and plugged it in. No more wet floors, and when all the water runs out of the mister, the fan still blows humidity into the air from over the water in the pan. So, it still works, theoretically. What a waste of money, though. Cheaper to use a teakettle on a camp stove. The refill orifice is on the bottom and I can't get a replacement seal. I know! I will hot glue the cap onto the bottom with plenty of glue. Then if I drill a fill hole on top and cover it with duck tape, the unit will run without leaking. No need to bother a company that doesn't stand behind it's products, or provide replacement parts, or makes units obsolete so I have to buy a new one each year. Well, on this one, I will wait until the fan gives out blowing over a pan of water. Then I will have gotten my money's worth. Thank you . You're not publishing this one, are you?
Not much used
I really haven't used thankfully. I wish it was much bigger to cover entire room.
