HONEYWELL HZ-817
WE ARE ON OUR THIRD UNIT. WHEN IT WORKS IT WORKS GREAT. FIRST ONE LASTED ABOUT TWO WEEKS. SECOND UNIT LASTED SIX WEEKS. TRIED TO GET A REFUND - CONTACTED HONEYWELL DIRECTLY. NO HELP WHATSOEVER. WE NOW HAVE OUR THIRD UNIT AND IT'S 80 DEGREES OUTSIDE! WOULD NOT WISH THIS MODEL ON ANYONE. BUY AMERICAN!
817C Heater
This is a replacement , because the first one stopped working. It is not cold enough to test out this unit until next winter.
Does the job but needs improvement
There is strong smell that comes off the heater when I turn it on. I usually have to open the window for 15 minutes to disperse the smell. It works fine after that. I like that it conserves energy and that it is quiet. I keep it next to me when I am working at the computer and it does keep me warm.
