This is the fourth and fifth Honeywell Tower Fan, works great in our son's college dorm, and has really helped cool down the house and lower our electric bills.
this was the fourth and fifth fan purchased, it really helps cool down the house and keeps our electric bills in check.
5 speeds and powerful enough to cool a family room. Fan's sleek design fits in nicely in our family room
This is my second HY254 Tower Fan. First one bought 6/14/2013 when the fan in my kitchen broke so I bought the second one. So far I have been very pleased with ease of operation.
This fan is quiet, light, and easy to move around the house. I am thoroughly satisfied with this product.
This fan is EXACTLY what I was looking for. It circulates the air throughout the room and is INCREDIBLY QUIET!!! I love it!
I just wanted to say I love your products. I will continue to purchase them from your company.
Fairly quiet even on high, good constant airflow. Oscillation smooth but possibly a little fast - speed control for that would be great. Cage fan inside unit seems to be a little out-of-balance or slightly off-center but does not vibrate excessively even on high. Like the remote feature.
Easy to put togeather, very well built, quiet, so far work's well.We got it because we have a cat and dont want paws in blade's and we trust the honeywell brand.
I'm very impressed with the quality and the quiet operation of this tower fan. I'm using this fan in my office so it was important that I have a quiet background when speaking on the phone with my customers. Love the fact that it comes with a remote. Very satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend this tower fan to others. Thank you.
I too, bought this fan and it was missing the 3 screws for assembly .... So I returned it and got another one..... This box, also was still factory sealed and also missing the same 3 screws.... Since it was after office hours I emailed KAZ.com..... We'll see how long, if ever it takes to get the screws and if they charge me for them, plus shipping...
I had a Honeywell tower fan, it lasted @ 3 years. I liked it enough to buy this one, which has more features, so far I like it, I hope it does as well as the first one.
We just purchased the Quietset oscillating fan today and it was very easy to setup. We cannot give a complete performance review yet as we have just begun to use it. But, i like the look of the fan and all of the settings...Very Nice.
I just purchased this fan. I love it because it is quiet and cools real good. My only problem is the remote control does not work, which I have emailed you about.
I bought this tower fan beause of the well know Honeywell name. I looked at several fans and many places. I hope this has no issues as some state with the remote. I am not sure about the short oscillating distance yet, but we will see. I was attracted to the no changing of filters and medium to large size room. Also little fingers from grandchildren will be safe. Another good feature is the batteries are normal because those little round ones are very expensive. Hope it works then I may get another, but time will tell. So far very quiet, very sleek look. I do like black/grey better but I guess white gives it a summer look. If all goes well as now I will change to a 5 from a 4 star.
Assembly was not difficult, Pieces snap together although once completed the unit seems slighly shaky or wobbly but only to the touch and not during operation. Quiet five speed operation. Remote has a handy storage place in the unit.
Only issue with it is the box was missing the 3 screws to attach the base to the bottom of the tower. Called the 1-800 number at 6:45 pm EST and got a recorded message that the office was closed and to call back during regular business hours - 8 am to 7 pm! I called on a Monday evening......
Let's see if customer service will be quick in sending me the 3 missing screws.
This is the second of these fans that I've purchased. I was very pleased with the first so picked a second a year later. It was nice to see that the remote control storage has been improved on the newer model, however it was more than a little annoying to find that there were no AAA batteries included with the remote, necessitating another trip to the store.
JUST BOUGHT 2 OF THESE FOR MY SISTER IN LAW. VERY EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND SEEMS TO BE WELL MADE.
VERY QUIET AND AND A GOOD OSCILATING RANGE
VERY PLEASED BUT HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PLEASED HONYWELL PRODUCT
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK ON YOUR PRODUCT QUALITY
i NOW HAVE 2 HUMIDIFIERS, 2 DEHUMIDIFIERS A HEATING PAD
Quiet and nice looking. Only problem is the remote totally sucks! I changed the batteries and tried everything I could - it's hard to hold onto and the buttons don't all work. it's ridiculous. i paid over $60 for this fan and the remote is totally crappy
First off, I have a Chinese military radio set with quotations from Chairman Mao on the tempest covers. It's not a bad radio. Inside it's put together with 1960s technology & attention to good RF design. I use it for amateur radio military radio/antique radio events. It's a copy of the AN/GRR9 radio set from the Vietnam war era. Damn nice copy of a good Gringo design.
This fan, however, shows signs of having never seen an American engineering hand.
Let's cut to the chase: I plugged the fan in, ran it for three nights & then on night number four, it chattered at me & the fan motor stalled. I gave it some loving nudges with an insulated tuning wand. The fan would not turn.
So out come the tools. Two screws that hold the cowling in front of the squirrel cage fan element are missing. This allows the cowling to move into the rotational area of the squirrel cage element & stall things. Once I snapped the cowling back into place, the fan started to run properly. I reassembled the unit & put it back in service.
I'm waiting to see how long that works. If necessary, I'll find some small screws & fix it right.
Seriously unimpressed with the way this fan is constructed. Good healthy motor turns the squirrel cage part. Serious good motor. I'd bet that it would smoke real good before bursting into flames. While I'm sleeping.
So yeah, two stars. It works now. Good thing I have a smoke alarm in the bedroom, right?
I have to say i WAS a good customer.I bought the fan used it for a few hour's ,smelled like wire's burning and died.Called customer service .They sent me a return lable sent it back and now they say they did not get it.They tell me i have to prove i sent it????how anyway lesson learned out the fan and 40.00 i paid for the fan .So with that said i will never buy anything again from you.and i will make sure our over 300+ friends on face book see what happend. All i wanted was a replacement fan that's it .I hope the 40.00 buck's we spent on the defective fan was worth loosing a good customer.thank's i hope that money help's your profit margin.Oh i had to give it 1 star to send this but i would of given it a -10
