How do I switch my thermometer between C and F? |

If the model number DOES NOT end in -CAN or -CF then it cannot be switched between C and F. Whichever scale it is currently reading in is the only scale is can read in.
If the model number DOES end in -CAN or -CF then it can be switched between C and F using the following instructions:
To change this thermometer from C to F, or vice versa, start with the thermometer off. With the thermometer off, press and hold the button. You should notice the colors flash and then the display should show an "M" at the top, "Lo" in the middle, and either "C" or "F" on the bottom. Keep an eye on the "M" because as soon as it disappears (but the rest stay as described), let go of the button and then press it again really quick. When pressed, you should see the "C" or "F" change to the other. IIf the button is repeatedly pressed the thermometer will cycle from "C" to "F" to "C" to "F". One other thing to make sure of is that the button is released and pressed as soon as the "M" disappears because there is only about a 2 second window of opportunity for switch before the thermometer starts reading a temperature. |
